Price is ridiculous

$30 for two fake candles. Target, you are outta your mind.

PLEASE stop with the "try me" wiring!

The candles themselves seem good so far -- but it's ludicrous that this company is so committed to letting customers mess with this product in stores with this "try me" button that they have set up wiring to that purpose *that the actual person who buys the product has to disassemble* -- it takes like half a dozen steps to do this, and a very specialized tiny screwdriver! -- just to get the product out. Oh and they don't include batteries. But they do include this wiring and a button battery that you get to worry about how to safely dispose of, *again JUST SO HANDSY PEOPLE IN TARGET STORES CAN PLAY AROUND WITH THIS STUFF.* So, so poorly designed. Come on, Target, do better.

The only LED pillar candles I have loved

I’m not someone who is quick to leave a review, but these LED candles ruined me for other LED ones. I only bought them originally because they were on sale during Christmas time last year and I had just bought some lanterns at Target so it was convenient, but I have since tried to buy cheaper ones for other spots in the house and can’t find anything that comes close. They look and feel like real wax, they are deceptively real (unless you look closely), have a random flicker, and they have a timer and a remote. In the six months since I bought the first set, I’ve only had to change the batteries once, despite running on the 5 hours a day timer.
