Fan Review
I've had the fan most summer and it has worked great. It's not noisy and the air temperature feels cool. It looks great and the oscillation works well. Only downside is the air only blows in one straight direction.

Upon delivery/assembly it sounded like there was something rolling around inside the fan but there was no access to it. Fan has great power but the oscillating portion broke within a day rendering the fan almost useless.

Quiet, Durable Tower Fan
I am impressed with my 42 Inch 80 Degree Tower Fan. I always have had great success with Costway products and service over the years and this fan is another success. The tall, slim design enables it to fit in tighter areas. My wife enjoys the quiet lower setting for comfortable air circulation while sleeping. The oscillating tower gives a broader coverage of air flow. The remote is convenient and the display turns off automatically after 30 seconds (a must at night while trying to sleep). When I was setting up to photograph the fan for this review, I accidentally knocked it over. The sound of the fan impacting the hardwood floor was loud, so loud I thought it was a goner. I put it back upright, powered it on and every function worked as designed. Impressive! I'm amazed at the quality of this fan. It's so quiet and powerful. It has 8 speeds and 3 modes to choose from. It keeps the room cool and doesn't makes too much noise. Its so tall, it throws air in the entire room and it keeps it so cool. It can be used by itself or as a supplement to a larger area of the house where cooling takes a lot of time. I love how it denies the make too much noise and my babies sleep without getting disturbed. Definitely recommended.

I've had a lot of tower fans, but this one is by far the best I've ever bought. First, it has 8 fan settings. The number 8 one is very strong and you can feel it across the room. Also, the base is not cheap and wobbly like many others I've bought. It doesn't rock at all. You can have the fan oscillate around the room or keep it still facing one direction. It came with a remote and batteries, too. Makes it nice to change the temp from across the room. The room I'm using it in is 12x10, and I would say that this fan cools the entire room effectively. I leave it in the corner occilating. Sometimes I use the eco feature where it saves energy by turning the fan on and off.
