Was good while it lasted
Bought this chair in May 2023. Now in Jan 2026 the arm just snapped for no reason and there are no replacement parts to fix the otherwise good chair.

Easy to assemble; headrest too low.
Easy enough to assemble. I'm 5'7" and I'll agree that the headrest is too low, even adjusted to its maximum height. I'll probably remove it, as it digs into my shoulders. Could be fixed by redesigning the headrest with the same attachment.

Good Quality for the price
It's a comfortable chair for me 5' 9". I used rubberized grip-handle of my Channel-locks to press in the castors with scrap piece of 2" x 4" under it (I assembled it upside down, set ontop of a tall bar-stool,) I had to cut, scrape and file the inside of the slots to allow enough clearance to pop in the last plastic cover for the bolts attaching the headrest. With the chair totally reclined, the "headrest" cradles my neck perfectly. That's the only time that I'd use it anyway.

Comfortable if you are not too tall
My only complaint about this chair is that the head rest does not go up high enough for me (I am 184cm tall). Otherwise it is comfortable and sturdy.

Solid Chair
I like this chair. It's firm but comfortable for me. I don't use the headrest and I don't think you really could unless you are probably 5'6 or under. I am 6' and even at the top setting it would press into my shoulders if I sat up straight. Not an issue for me since I don't really use a headrest anyway. The chair overall is sturdy and feels like it will last.

Comfortable chair
I was looking for a comfortable chair for my home office, and this one was just the right choice for me. The arm handles are adjustable and that was a plus.

Headrest is too low
Headrest is too low at max setting and digs into my shoulders. I'm 5'7". The seat still causes me tailbone soreness and pain and the arm rests don't go up high enough. To be fair, the Dexley chair from staples also hurts my butt. It must be me.

Nice chair, headrest too short
Chair assembled easy and feels sturdy, has nice adjustable features. I had to uninstall the headrest though because even at it?s tallest setting it rests at the top of my back, not my head, so I can?t sit back all the way. Rather uncomfortable really. But without the head rest the chair is great. Just may put some extra strain on my neck if I?m gaming for long periods but for working it seems just fine.

Bad lumbar
Lumbar kills my back. Difficult to remove but finally got it off. Seat does not recline with the back. Seat cushion is very comfortable, chair looks good, but overall not a good match for my back.

Not made for anyone above average height
The chair is absolutely painful to sit in if you are above average height. I am 6 foot 1 and my shoulders are well above the back of the chair. When the headrest is on, even at the highest setting, it hits almost the entire height of my shoulders. My neck, shoulders, and back all hurt after sitting in this chair for more than 20 minutes. The chair is unusable with the headrest on. Even with the headrest off, it is uncomfortable. The lumbar support is too low at the highest setting. I purchased the chair because it is supposed to be ergonomic. In reality it is the opposite. I am more comfortable sitting in the back of a plane in the middle seat. I half expected Kavok to pop up and tell me to: "Experience Bij!" If you are average to above average height, this is not the chair you are looking for.

Great chair!
It's comfortable, endlessly adjustable, and extremely comfortable. It was a snap to put together as well. We bought two!

Comfortable Chair for All Day Use, with all of the Adjustments I was Looking for
I went with this chair after my new gaming chair fell short of adjustability and comfort. Seems like the Workstream chair had everything I was looking for; mesh back, fore/aft and left/right adjustments on the armrests (even the seat cushion moves fore/aft!), adjustable lumbar and headrest, and reclining adjustable back. To my surprise, this chair met all my needs and is very comfortable for working from home and gaming after hours. I could not find a chair under $300 that fit these criteria, but I am glad I found this one at nearly half that cost.
