A: This comforter runs very warm. It would be great in the winter time but is too hot for the summer unless you have the AC on.

Very warm!
I would not say this is an “all seasons” down. This is more of a fall and winter down. It is very warm. We do like it, but I purchased it for spring and it was just too warm to use during that season. Although, we do live in Central California so our spring weather is warm. Overall, it’s a nice down comforter, but way thicker than expected.

Great comforter
My husband & I both really like this comforter. Our old one was very worn down and thin, and we were ready to get a new one but I wasn’t certain which one to commit to, as so many comforters had negative reviews. But I’ve felt like Target brands are tried & true, and even though some called this comforter noisy or pokey {from the feathers}, we love it. It’s thick but doesn’t run too hot, and we got a cover for it so you don’t really feel the feathers poking out. And I remember being used to that as a child when I would feel my own parents’ comforter, so it really wasn’t a big deal to me. And the noise is so minimal and natural, so that just doesn’t seem like it should be an issue. I also really like how it’s quilted, keeping the feathers all even throughout the blanket, whereas our old one would clump up and the filling would start to slide into the bottom of the blanket after use. I even ordered a synthetic quilt from Amazon just in case, and we decided to stick with this one. So we are happy with it!

Not comfy or cozy
This comforter constantly has very pointy feathers sticking out of it. It has become very uncomfortable to use because of this. Do not recommend. I have never experienced a true down comforter do this until this item.

It’s warmer than all season, which I personally dislike but maybe it’ll be nice in the winter. And the feathers poke through like crazy. I’m hoping a duvet cover smooths it out but it’s pretty uncomfortable. It’s a “crunchy” duvet which I like, but I wish I got the down alternative instead.
