I liked using these for the different happy birthday and happy anniversary banners I like to put up. These are also super tiny and discreet - you could leave them up all year round!!

I love the concept of these clips, but I'm honestly disappointed in the quality of the adhesive strips. The strips don't stick well even on a smooth surface. In just a day, without having anything in the clips, I was retrieving them from the floor. Could the product be an old one or is this the new norm?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this product free from Discover 3M to evaluate. The clips are small in size (about 5/8" wide and 1/2" tall) and they are clear. I used the clips to hang a flag bunting on my door for a celebration I was hosting—the ribbon held securely by just wrapping it twice around the hook on the clip. The size of the clips is a plus in that the small clips do not detract from what is being hung. The clips were easy to affix to the door's surface and held strongly in place. And when I was done with the event and took the bunting down, the clips easily released from the door. A generous quantity of clips (20) is included in a package making it possible to hang several items with just one package. I highly recommend the clear decorating clips.

Great for hanging decorative lights indoors or any other small items. Has a strong hold on smooth indoor surfaces including painted walls, smooth ceilings, finished wood, glass, tile, and metal. I just love the clips to make holiday decorating a breeze.The basic clear can go anywhere in my house and doesn’t distract from the decorations and if I need to remove it has easy to remove strip that leaves no damage to walls and with a new strip I can relocate anywhere else. It is great innovative product that I would highly recommend to anyone. The item description was just as described and I definitely would buy it again.

These used to be amazing. Can’t find one that had a good adhesive anymore. These don’t stick to walls and definitely don’t do what they are advertised to. Not sure when they changed the adhesive but these are a waste of money now.

Stickiness doesnt't stay sticky.

The hooks don’t stay up, the stickiness goes away. We bought them last year and they were amazing this year I’m not sure if they changed the sticker part but they don’t work well. We’ve had to replace many of the hooks.

I have used command strips for many years and have always had good luck with them, until now. I am very disappointed with the current product. I bought a new package to hang Christmas lights and garland in my kitchen, went over the molding with rubbing alcohol and followed the steps for installing the clips.. Older clips that I had from last year stuck well. The new clips I bought didn't stick well at all. Lights kept falling down. I used a combination of mini-clips and large clips at corners. I am convinced it is the new clips, as old clips are not a problem at all. Very disappointed with the current quality of the product, as it is not as good as it used to be.

Used to love this product and used them every year to hang string lights. Now it appears that they have changed the adhesive strips and they do not work AT ALL. I bought two brand new packs from different stores and they both were exactly the same. They aren’t even strong enough to withstand the lights being attached to the clip, let alone hold the lights up. One poke of a finger and the clips detach from the wall, even when following all of their recommended steps. Not sure what to use now that I no longer trust this product.

Bought an off brand for a lower price, they did not hold at all. So I then bought a bit pricey Command hooks (figured they were the best holding) put up my light string, looked great. 2 days later the hooks began to fall off the wall!!!!! Just as bad as the off brand. Disappointed ☹️

These little clips were awesome to use for installing Christmas lights on my balcony! I was worried the adhesive wouldn’t stand up to being in the sun but they have been up for almost a month now and none have popped off the metal door frame. Worth every penny!

This is frustrating. I just bought one this morning and as much as I cleaned with alcohol, dry the area with a clean cloth the glue doesn’t stick to the glass. The worst thing is that I run out of glue already. This is so disappointing and consider false advertising.

I use these hooks in every single home or business we do holiday decorating. These are a life saver. I was reading where I dividuals claims the command caused damage. Well in my experience if you do not pull the strip completely flat across whatever surface you put them then yes it can cause peeling. So key is keep you gingers flat with surface and pull very slowly. Yes this sounds like a pain but if you don't want marks then just pull off flat then it pulls off as described with no damage. If strip breaks off the wiggle hook slowly until it pops off then you can grab remaining tape and it will pull of safely.

These are NOT damage free. I used them for hanging lightweight swirl decorations from our foyer, hallway, and kitchen ceilings for a 50th anniversary party. When removing, many of the sticky strips broke off, making them nearly impossible to remove without a pry tool. And for those that didn't break, nearly every single one of the strips removed plaster and/or paint from the ceiling. Our ceiling was painted just 6 months ago, and now will have to be repainted as there are chip spots everywhere. I've used all sorts of other Command strips and hooks before, and these are the only ones that have caused this much damage. I'm really disappointed.
