Great for small plant saucers and cannot beat the price!!

Right size for vanity top

This is a nice plain candle plate, and the only reason I docked one star is because for it to work as best as it can, it needs three little bump-legs on the bottom. Plus, the price is high for a dollar-store type of item. I'm using it underneath my Himalayan Salt tealight holder, so that the salt doesn't interact with the surface I'm putting it on, in my humid bathroom, in the humid PNW, and it's excellent for that, especially since the design is very minimal. I did have a problem with a votive in a pressed glass cocktail glass, which had burned to the bottom and was so hot it toasted the wood underneath it. This dish would help with that, but without three little legs underneath, it may end up cracking from the temperature difference between the votive holder and the table. If so, I will have to find another glass one, but with legs, or a metal one with legs. There's a good chance that this could work, though, since it's kinda thin, which means that the heat can transfer more completely, lessening the chance that it will crack. Chunky glass has a higher liklihood of cracking from temperature change. Anyway, I think it's a nice dish and I recommend it. It can also be used as an impromptu drink coaster, spoon-rest, little snack plate, trinket dish, art project, artists mixing pallet, counter-protector for small gluing/chemical jobs, plate for nail polish, and saucer under cactuses. I do recommend.

It cracked with a birthday candle

Candle wax leaked all over my buffet. Dish not deep enough for pillar candle.

They are great for holding candles or waxed amaryllis bulb flowers or anything! I must have 10 by now. I bought some little clear stick on pads separately as "feet" for when I use them on top of glass or other surfaces that may scratch. Perfect! Great price, too.
