submitted byEva - 3 years agoTarget staff supportA: I tried this today with this product to try and find a solution to my daily netipot rinses when traveling. I tilted my head and squeezed the bottle to try and get a bunch in there to replicate the sinus rinses I do. It burned terribly including my sinuses, ears and throat. It’s been two hours and it still hurts. And I did two normal sinus rinses afterward to try and flush it out. This product has several more ingredients compared to the netipot saline packets and it’s likely those extra ingredients that caused the burning sensation. It feels pretty awful. I would not try to do what you are suggesting and just stick to neilmed rinse packets and a netipot which I had been doing for two years with distilled water with no issues.

I recently purchased these on my HSA and the safety seal was missing from the package so I don’t know if it’s used or what that I actually had to end up getting rid of it. The package did not have the red sealed for your safety thing on it what is really sketchy? I know not to trust. Pick up orders again for health items could be contaminated open. Safety aren’t really in their mind I guess even the bottle seems like it’s mostly empty or it was open to the store as it barely has a new liquid that I decide to get one from CVS that I could confirm that I had the seal on it for purseas this cannot be trusted the photo shown the exact condition that it was received no seal clearly

Terrible, imagine shooting chlorine up your nose. I think up & up wants to take us out with this product because shooting bleach up your nose might just be better…Arm & hammer is much better and worth every penny.

After loving the arm&hammer saline spray, I decided to try this as a lower cost option, but the spray is so weak it essentially does nothing. Arm&hammer spray gave me instant dry nose relief, so I will repurchase that anyway. It may cost a bit more but the relief is so worth it.

I should have checked the ingredients for this saline spray before purchasing. The Benzalkonium Chloride in this is just burning like crazy in the back of my throat - as any surfactant probably would. Ever accidentally get soapy water in your sinuses or eye as a kid and feel the sting? That but make it on purpose. I had to follow up with a full saline rinse, benzocaine and a prolonged sit down to regroup and process my most recent life choices. Couldn’t pay me to try this again.

First time trying this. Usually buy arm and hammer daily saline spray. Decided to try this for the price. It works and has helped through a cold. However, the ingredients in this has a horrible taste when it drips to the throat. Not a salt water taste. Also, burned. Not sure if it burned bc of how irritated I was already lots of clogged mucus etc but it was intense that I stopped using. Will use if I absolutely need it but it will be a last resort and not purchasing again unless desperate.

Worst nasal saline spray. Had a chemical smell to it and stings my nasal passage. Don't save money for these cheap sprays, they are cheap for a reason. Had to throw away the bottle.

I buy this all the time for daily use and separate bottles for when I’m sick. It really seems to help me feel my best. I suffer from allergies and overall dryness and my nose can’t live without some good ole saline. It’s one easy way to help ease symptoms when sick too!

I've bought Up and Up Saline Nasal Spray for years with no issue. The last batch had different ingredients. It has a weird smell that gets stuck in the back of my throat when I use it to moisturize/ clean out my nose. It even changed how food tasted until it wore off. I would recomend not trying this new solution.

When my nose is dry, and I need extra moisture up in my head, this is the way to go. Good stuff. I just recommend wiping off the nozzle after you use it though. Or else you end up with a weird smell next time. Just saying….

I bought two bottles. My husband says his is fine but the other one is burning my sinus passage, similar to the most recent reviews of this product. Bad batch I think. Contact customer service for a refund. They’ll give you the number for a team to report the bad bottle to. I assume they’ll take down the lot #. I have yet to call them because after hours but I will.

I can’t imagine anyone using this daily. I bought this to replace a pricey bottle of nasal mist. I’ve also used saline gels. They all taste the same with no smell. I assumed this was saline sprays across the board. This smells/ tastes awful - like seawater mixed with overheated plastic. I tried to use it twice threw it away. I also don’t like the bottle shape. Either I stand upright and just get horribly scented air with minimal liquid or turn and get a huge squeeze going down my throat. I can’t see anyone using this or giving it a 5 star review. Maybe I got a bad bottle?
