Wouldnt recommend... AT ALL
Purchased these cups for my little one and I am absolutely regretting it. We have other first years cups that are great so these were disappointing. My main issue with these are even after washing thoroughly multiple times the water tastes like plastic. You also have to suck really hard to get the water to come up the straw. These aren’t very easy to clean either.

Huge fan of Bluey and my daughter gravitated to the cup when she saw it. She got so frustrated when she couldn’t get anything out of the straw. I tried and it’s difficult to take a sip. Now she is discouraged to drink from the cup. Disappointed.

Great cups at the beginning. My toddler throws everything. The cups eventually wear down. The pressure of cold liquid and throwing turns into an unwanted geyser.... the hole in the top eventually breaks down making it always leak.

These are so cute, but they are NOT a good transition cup. They are so difficult to suck out of. I watched my child struggle so I tried it. You have to suck so hard to get the tiniest bit of water. Like trying to drink a thick or frozen milkshake-but we just had water in there. Pieces are so hard to remove for cleaning too. Heaven forbid your fingers are wet trying to push these pieces out. I would skip this buy.

First Years Insulated Straw Cup
This is the only cup my daughter will use. I love that it has a soft straw top, which encourages proper mouth closure and good tongue posture. We will be using this cup for many years to come!! Does great in the dishwasher on the top rack and doesn't leak! Thank you First Years, for a dependable cup!!! I recommend it to all the parents I talk to!

Not worth it. Difficult to remove mouth piece
My kid’s almost two and knows how to drink from straw cups so we only bought it because my child loves Bluey and not to practice drinking. Pros: cute/fun looking, double layered/insulated so cold water didn’t make the bottle sweat, only 4 pieces to wash. That’s about it. Cons: Ridiculously hard to remove the silicone mouth piece (which is probably why some reviews say it couldn’t be removed and mold grew but it can be removed, pull from the short tab inside while pushing from the outside with force), I also tested the cup and tried drinking from it and it requires a lot of work to suck a small amount of water upwards. I can’t imagine how it would encourage a young child to want to drink from it. I would not buy it again.
