This tan is going to go on weird. You will be dark but when you wash it off, it looks amazing. I use a brush to put this on. Dont try to even it out either. Just put it on and wait

This went on my skin a black This formula has a deep purple color that looked so bad while applying, that I had to wash it off immediately. No use by date on bottle, so who knows how long it was on the shelf at the store. Never again! Too late to return by the time I used it so I threw it away.

this is the perfect tanner for the darker skinned girls who want to add a glow and even out their skin tone. It doesn't leave the orange tint !

One of the worst self-tanners I've used. Dries too fast, applies patchy, never fully sets, stains clothes/sheets, and fades unevenly after 2–3 days. Color is natural but not dark. Regret buying—wish I could return it. Definitely wouldn't recommend.

Natural looking tan, not orange - 1 month ago

I wish I was born with beautiful olive skin or tan skin, but it's just not the case-I am pale as can be. I've used St Tropez Tanning products for years, the mousse products applied with the Tanning mitt, so I guess I have worked out the kinks on how to apply it evenly. I love this new tanning product, it leaves a natural looking tan, which is something I have not been able to find since the Australian Vita Liberata. I highly recommend this product.

This is easy to use. I'm not a self tanner pro & had great results. It does stain the palm of your hands so try to keep off. Apply in straight lines and go over areas multiple times to assure it's applied evenly. Zero orange tint. My new go to!!!

I dont know why this product has so many bad reviews. Ive been self tanning for like 15 years and am super picky. I love this one. Its hard to find ones these days that arent green and this one comes out beautiful! Not streaky and fades nicely.

I tried to make this work so hard especially for the price, and im not a newbie to tanning. Every time i applied it took AGES. The guide color the next morning looks like a nice brown tan but when washed off is orange and SUPER patchy no matter how hard i exfoliate or moisturized. Then this leads me to the fading, which is not graceful or even. I exfoliate and moisturize like you should for a tan, however this tan fades patchy, super unnatural and quickly. My tan usuallt lasts 1.5 weeks and this one im lucky to get three days . Ive never had this problem with the tans ive tried in the past. Overall not worth it to me and i will not be repurchasing.

This tan looks phenomenal for about 2 days, and then begins fading very quickly. Even with attempting to maintain it (gentle exfoliation, moisturizing liberally) it will not last more than 3 days maximum. If you want to look fantastic for a wedding, special event etc, it definitely does the job. It has a GREAT color, not too green not too orange, and looks blended every time. I am naturally very pale, and this actually makes me look tan.

I'm a novice self tanner, so I was worried about picking and applying the right product the right way. This went on easily with a mitt, but I found the stickiness really hard to deal with afterwards - I definitely did not last the full 8 hours! After my long awaited shower, I was left with a great natural tan (I'm usually the lighest shade of foundation available with pink undertones). It wore well over the next few days and even outlasted a professional salon tan, BUT I noticed a weird rash on my collarbone and inside of my elbows. I liked the results of the tan so much that I used it again, but this time the rash was worse, so I had to return the product.

I bought a full and a mini on sale because I knew I needed a better violet tanner. Unfortunately this formula is terrible. You MUST wear for a minimum of 6-8 hours for any color pay off (the bottle says you can do a quick tan - false). It rubs off on EVERYTHING. It stays tacky/wet for HOURS.

When you first put on the mousse it is sooo dark and honestly not in a good way (it all ends up washing off anyways). Dries down so fast compared to the original formula and becomes smeary and hard to work with despite it being so liquidy. I used a st tropaz mitt and properly prepped my skin and still had so much difficulty. Color payoff not worth it, honestly not sure what skin undertone this is even meant for. Stick with the original.

Applying this had me terrified because it wasn't blending as I would have liked. Instructions said you could wash off after 30 minutes for a glow. Glow was perfect! No bad smell and the developed color was fantastic. New go to.

If you have textured skin from weight loss or pregnancy, this is not the product for you. Whike the formula is lightweight and true dark as advertised, it does not take to all areas of skin regardless of exfoliating or shaving.

This tanner is so dry & hard to work with, very messy, smelly for days after, stains sheets, streaky & wears off quickly. I bought this for the color payoff & violet undertone, but it's just not worth it. I've tried applying it a few different times with differnet methods for trial & error - none of which were successful. It's expensive and a mess to put on, dries before you can blend it in. It takes me 30-45minutes to apply, which is a no in and of itself. All of my sheets and comforter are stained, along with my bathroom cabinets - even after cleaning off the little dots of tanner that splattered right away. Not to mention the gnarly rash it left on my neck & face. Looked like I had 100 swollen misquito bites. And after all of that, the tan starts of come off after 24 hours - even with good moisturizing shower products and applying lotion throughout the day. My go-to for years has been the St Tropez 2 Hour Express Mousse, which works great. However, I was looking for something darker & with a violet undertone. If they could match the formula to the 2 Hour Express mousse, it would be perfect. Would not recommend the Supeme Violet unless your looking for stress.

I love this tanner! It is foolproof as long as you use a mit and rub it in. It looks so splotchy and its true it doesnr fully dry down but once you rinse it off and let it develop it is a beautiful natural looking tan. I let it sit for about 4-5 hours on my super pale skin before washing it off and im always impressed!! Its worth the stickiness

25 years of self tanning. Decided to give this a shot shot today using gloves. Thin layer, gloves, speed, moisturizing dry spots, and buffing afterwards, gives streak free results.
Please, never stop making this product!

FINALLY!!!! A self tanner that is NOT orange. Very natural and dark, dark, dark! Use plenty of the mousse to get those results. Not so fun hanging for 8 hours, (don't want to wear it to bed) waiting for development, but results well worth it! Thx!!

This product never fully dries. It stays tacky from start to finish. It also does not apply evenly. The color does not come out very dark and it is streaky in areas once processed. I am an expert tanner and tried every trick in the book.
