Our Sweet Honey Japanese Barbecue Sauce is made with honey but that doesn't mean it's all sweet and innocent. The honey makes the umami flavor hit harder. The soy, ginger, and green onion pop. Our crave-worthy flavor always comes from simple, clean ingredients.

    Wonderful blended flavors

    This BBQ sauce is so flavorful that I was worried the spices would be too strong for me. Boy was I surprised to taste how well blended the spices are that not one particular spice overpowers the others. Gonna be brave and try a different sauce….. Thank you for your wonderful product. 🤗

    Loved in Scotland too

    My teenage niece in Scotland loved this sauce when the family visited me in San Francisco. Now I have to bring some back to Scotland every time I go back. Needless to say my luggage is very heavy.

    BUY THIS SAUCE.

    I never ever leave reviews ever. This sauce is the exception. I know we’re in a recession lowkey and this is almost $10 but it is worth every single penny. I will rebuy this again and again. The flavor profile goes crazy.

    Too much soy for me.

    I wanted to try something different and read good reviews on this but it wasn't for me. Basically a very strong soy sauce flavor. Didn't resemble any bbq type flavors to me.

    Yuzu now has a partner in crime

    As a fan of Bachan's for some time, Yuzu quickly became my favorite in the line. Well, just as fast as Sweet Honey came into the scene, it has become my second favorite. Such a nice sweetness that wowed me when my Mom used it to make ribs for dinner. And just like Yuzu, it works great as a condiment with rice and noodle dishes. Very pleased with this one.

    I have bought every single one of these sauces and they are all AMAZING! I have nothing negative to say about these sauces. If you want a real authentic sauce these suckers are the real deal.     Very versatile.

    I have the collection of your Marinade /sauces, I find them to be the most versatile and best flavored product out there. You can use it on everything from beef chicken seafood to vegetables. My niece would even dip broccoli in it and I’ll finish the whole plate. Awesome product.
