Beautiful but defective

The iteam is pretty but unfortunately comes apart at seams with what appears to be its own weight. Keep in mind the top and bottom are about 2.5 inch pieces that make up the widest part of the mantel but the sides and front part (which are more visible) are whole pieces. It's a really nice mantel but I returned due to defective/ poor quality item. Hopefully the next one won't be of this quality.
