Nuloom Merrick Tasseled Cotton and Wool Area Rug, 3' x 5', Black

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We purchased the blue rug for our family room. I love it so much, the colors, the texture, but it is impossible to clean. We have two kids and a dog, but they are not the issue. We vacuum multiple times a day due to our dog shedding a lot, so this isn’t anything new to try to keep a rug clean. The blue sheds and white is impossible to get the vacuum in. We have green machine and have used that multiple times but it just isn’t working. We’ve only had this for a year and are already going to have to get a new rug.

Love Emily Henderson’s design and had high hopes. After 10 days with windows open and attempting to get rid of the synthetic smell, we had to return it. We packed it back in the box it came in (no plastic), and it smelled up our garage before we could take it to FedEx.We had read some other comments about it smelling before we decided to purchase... we just thought, how bad could it be.... ! Turns out it’s terrible and won’t leave your nose. Would not recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I initially loved the color and design of this rug and it fit our space great, but within just a few months it started pulling and losing threads in various spots. Even the rust colored thread along the edge has fallen apart in two different areas. I would not recommend it for a large space.

Horrible smell! Like mold and mildew. The house even smells with the carpet gone. We had to air it out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rugs was everything I wanted it to be. It's soft, the texture differences are interesting, and I love the color. However, it is impossible to clean. The difference between the pile and flat weave make it incredibly difficult to use an upholstery/carpet cleaner. I really did not think I would need to clean it much but the ivory can get really dingy over time and everyone's going to have a spill or pet accident occasionally. Overall, maybe I am not the type of person who can handle this rug but without any children and only one dog I'm not sure who would be.

Fills up the vacuum immediately and gets all over everything. It’s a bummer because it’s such a beautiful rug with the perfect punch of color, but is not manageable.

The soft parts feel nice, but with the low pile sections in between, it feels uncomfortable and weird under your feet. It has a yellowish tint, so it’s not an attractive cream color. Will be returning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So impressed with the quality of the rug. It is handmade, so there are uneven spots, but it just adds to the charm. It did end up being a little big bigger that 3x5, but that turned out to be the perfect size.

I was worried the colour would be too turquoisy in person but it’s the perfect muted teal. Only drawback is that there were some thread that were loose and pulled. Overall I love it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rug is very beautiful and adds so much character and texture to a room without needing tons of color. 4 stars only because it is thin. Don't skip the rug pad, because even with heavy furniture on it, it easily slides a bit!
