[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Firstly, packaging was top notch! Had to take a picture before I took it all apart top show how amazing it was. Loved that everything was labeled perfectly. It made all the instructions easier to handle. My hair was a little darker than what was needed to abusive the actual color I chose and i was already aware of that but went for it anyhow. The picture of my hair is after getting out of the shower and didn't take another after it dried but it did on fact lighten me up quite a bit. The process was so much easier than using your hands. I definitely appreciated the fact there was no mess. Can't wait to continue using this product. I'm slowly getting a few grays and this is in fact the best method I have found so far. My hair being super thick I did have to push a little harder to get in there after watching the tutorial but otherwise definitely recommend it.

It definitely saved time and made the application process easier but you’ll still have to use your finger tips to apply it evenly behind the ears. The hair felt super smooth after using the conditioner and was not looking damaged. The color quality is better than the boxed ones. Coverage was good but it left out few grays and this was due to first time use of the device. Overall, this is a good way to apply hair color and get good results without getting messy.

I purposely avoid dyeing my hair because of the mess and how time consuming it is, but this was a game changer. I have medium to dark brown hair and the blonde lifted my hair a few shades lighter but obviously not to a true blonde. I attached a photo for reference. The roots are my natural color so it definitely worked! Will be using again for regular touch ups!

The design is sleek and modern, and the process is less messy than traditional box dye. The brush applicator distributes color fairly evenly, and it definitely speeds up the application time. That said, it's not completely foolproof. I found the color cartridge system convenient, but some parts of my hair didn’t absorb the dye as well as others, especially near the roots. The final color looked good but not salon-level vibrant. Also, it’s a bit pricey for what it offers, especially if you color your hair frequently. If you're looking for a more efficient way to color your hair at home and don’t mind spending a bit more, the ColorSonic is worth a try. But if you're super picky about precision or coverage, you might still prefer the traditional route or a professional salon.

The instructions were easy to follow, and the tool itself was very easy to use as well. After, my hair was evenly dyed without any spots that were missing any, and it looked gorgeous!

After ensuring a full charge and following the instructions to get the color to flow, nothing comes out of the nozzles. Trying multiple times nothing comes out but the color level indicator has dropped as though product has been used. Would love to try a new one if possible!

I received the L’Oréal Paris colorsonic hair color device and hair color cartridge for review and I would say I am pretty impressed with the device. I really like how they provided the handout with step by step instructions and even provided QR code to watch an instructional video. That’s so awesome and helped me feel at ease and more comfortable using the device for the first time. The device is pretty sleek and I like that it is not very huge and bulky. It does not feel very heavy or difficult to hold while you’re using it. I like the concept of having different cartridges that you can buy for the device. I feel like the device coated my strands well and gave me a pretty good result at home vs having to go to the salon. I really like that you have the option to store away the extra dye you have and reuse it later so you aren’t wasting the dye like you would if you used already mixed box dye. My main concern with the device was how it would work on my curly/kinky hair. I was worried it would be a struggle but I made sure to detangle my hair VERY well and it was not difficult to use this device on my hair type. So I would just remind anyone with more coarser textures to make sure you take your time and really prep your hair before to ensure you get a good result and ease of use with this device. Another reminder I would give is to make sure to release the button to prevent dripping otherwise it could get messy. If you follow the instructions the use is very simple & This makes for an easy at home color experience and you also get really good results as well. Would recommend!

I gave this 4 stars because I had some trouble with trying to use it at first but it got the job done. Definitely will be using it again to color my hair in the future.

So I sectioned my hair I opposition to the instructions and think I got really good coverage. The shade was pretty spot on. I went from copper to auburn. The smell wasn’t too bad. Not much different than you typical box dye.

I have recently been going to the salon to dye my roots just because it’s easier to not deal with the stress and mess of doing it at home now that I have a baby. I’m so glad I found this amazing tool that dyes my hair without the mess from boxed dyes. I can’t even begin to explain how easy this was to use. Also the scent was not strong as other dyes. It didn’t smell super chemically either which I liked as well. Might actually use this again once day! Gave it 4 stars due to the price. It’s a little steep for the applicator and the cartilages.

In this day and age where everything is getting so incredibly expensive I was really looking forward to a product that would help me maintain professional looking color without having to go to a salon. The package gives you everything you need including gloves, and a handy cleaning cartridge. The only additional product you need to buy is the color cartridge of your choice. The instructions for using the applicator are very easy to understand. When you start the processing it is incredibly easily. I found it a little more time consuming than what I was expecting but overall not too bad. If you are someone who uses a singular color to maintain your hair. I highly recommended using this application process. It was a little tricky to get the back, but I feel like that was my issue and meticulousness not the fault of the machine. I also feel this is something that will get easier the more often I use it and become more comfortable with it. I am hoping that they come out with more color options with it. I’ve only had the color on for a few days and can not speak to the longevity of the color application. Excited though for what is to come. Would recommend if you are someone who is trying to save a little money at the salon. I was very pleased with the end result.

I think this would world fine for root touch-ups for both straight and curly hair, which is what I did. Packaging was eco-ish friendly. Much easier to mix than with a traditional box dye. Strong scent though. PS need to charge unit before using!
