Fly By Jing Xtra Crunchy Sichuan Chili Crisp (formally named “Chengdu Crunch”) is a spicy, savory, umami, and extra crunchy chili crisp that packs a major punch. Crafted in Sichuan by Chef Jing Gao, she wanted to be the first to bring her favorite type of chili crisp from her hometown of Chengdu to the United States. Not off-the-charts spicy, you’ll find yourself putting this complex, nut-free crunchy texture on everything. Top your rice bowl, noodles, dumplings, soup, sandwiches, and pizza with an extra crispy crunch. Drizzle onto tacos, salads or BBQ. Dip pretzels, chips, and your spoon directly into the jar. Tree nut and peanut free, this crunchy chili sauce gets that satisfying crunch from fava beans, yellow split peas, soy beans, pumpkin seeds, sesame and sunflower seeds.     Can't stop, wont stop...eating this amazing crunchy chili oil.

    I hate to cook and heat up my kitchen in the summer. Ive found my new, slightly concerning addiction of the following...i take a can of tuna, little mayo, mustard, sweet pickle relish, everything bagel seasoning and a heaping spoon of Xtra crunchy Sichuan chili crisp , mix it up and dip with crunchmaster avocado crackers. Oh ma gawd! Amazeballs!!! Must try!

    Great dish enhancer in terms of flavor or textures

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this after trying the original chili sauce and I love this one so much better. Since there’s no bean paste and it focuses on the crunch, I can use this in traditional Asian recipes as well as as a garnish for my non Asian recipes. In terms of flavor it is more original to a no frills chili oil compared to laoganma or the original flybyjing jar but I prefer this so much better so it’s more versatile in my opinion.

    Super yummy crunch

We were impressed with the authentic taste and crunchy pieces in the sauce. After reading the ingredients list, soybeans, fava beans, yellow split peas, dried chili peppers and pumpkin seeds are listed. No wonder it tastes so good. Not only these crunchy pieces add the texture, they also add another dimension of taste to the sauce.
