[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pretty watery sauce. Works fine for pizza, but I don't think I'd enjoy it with pasta. The taste is fine. I don't think it's very spicy but I tend to eat too much hot sauce and people with more normal palates might disagree on the spiciness. It's basically a bland marinara sauce with a little red pepper flakes mixed in. Better than overly sweet stuff like Prego I guess. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I admit I was a bit hesitant to try this sauce in a meal after sampling it straight from the jar - it really is spicy! However, mixing it in with ground beef brought the spice level down to a healthy degree that was actually pleasant. We really enjoyed using this sauce - it made for a super easy weeknight dinner served over spaghetti. I would recommend as long as you like spice! I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The quality of this sauce was great! I used a little bit of it in a recipe tonight that called for a little bit of tomato sauce. It packs a punch and the sauce tastes authentic. My husband appreciated that it wasn’t a chunky sauce. I just noticed that there is a barcode on the pack to scan for recipes, so I’m excited to give those a try next! It also doesn’t have any added sugars. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pasta sauce is SO yummy. The spice level is perfect. It is not too spicy, but maybe like a medium level. I don’t know that my kids could handle the spice level. It tastes fresh and homemade. We made this with spaghetti noodles and it is just exactly the flavors I have been wanting. It will be hard to go back to other sauces. This has me hooked. It is also made in the USA and has no added sugar. The ingredients are super simple with really no additives. I will buy again! I’m always looking for a little extra spice and this one was full of flavor and overall a great one to consider. I used it with some ground beef and it was a hit with the family. The price point is quite high, which is a bummer however, I guess if you’re paying for quality, you’re gonna have to pay more. Overall, an excellent product and I’m excited to get it again. I'm third-generation Italian - my grandmother only made and served her own homemade sauce. Monte's is by far the best, most authentic sauce I've tasted that reminds me of hers. There is a difference between something just tasting yummy and something tasting so good, so real, that it can transport you back to Nonna's kitchen with every bite. This is the real deal and truly fantastic stuff. The level of spice is exactly what every pasta dish needs, and the texture isn't overly chunky, which makes sure every surface of the noodle is coated with sauce. Will only be buying this sauce from now on!! So glad it's at Target now!!
