[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very good quality ingredients, tasted fresh. You can taste the sweet peppers over the tomatoes. Very unique take on tomato sauce. Paired well with spaghetti. Would be good dipping garlic breadsticks. Thick on top but a little runny in the bottom, like if you made it homemade. It was more orange than red sauce. Will purchase again. I liked the classic tomato sauce from this brand as well. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not a huge fan of peppers; however, the 'sweet' pepper intrigued me. It's not a typical pasta sauce flavor, but it's good for something different.. or a change to your meal routine. We all like the flavor a lot. It tasted like a gourmet sauce. You can tell the ingredients are clean and quality. The only complaint I have is it's thin. I would like the amount of water reduced or something. I enjoyed it on my meatball sandwich and a few days later the family had it with spaghetti and meatballs. Adding grated parmesan cheese on top helps thicken it. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This brand uses organic and natural ingredients, which I appreciate, but it is a little thinner than the sauces that I'm used to. It is not salty at all and the color is consistent with more of a vodka sauce than a rich, red tomato sauce. My grandson wasn't a big fan of the sweet pepper taste but did eat it on his ravioli. It's also quite a bit pricier than what I usually spend on jarred sauce. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This sauce is very delicious overall! It tastes very fresh. I can distinctly taste the red pepper flavor, which I enjoy, but I suppose it goes without saying that you have to really like red pepper to enjoy this sauce. We used it as pasta sauce with veggie meatballs, zucchini, and mushrooms and it was very tasty. Our kids liked it as well. I think it would work well as a simmer sauce with Italian sausage. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Yum! I mixed this with a traditional store brand sauce and the product was perfection. I added sautéed onions and garlic and some ground beef for a nice meat sauce. I am excited to have more today for lunch. The flavors reminded me of my grandmother’s homemade sauce. I did feel that if I left this sauce alone it wasn’t the right flavor or for me. The pepper taste was strong which is why I mixed it. But it really became a nice flavor when mixed and also a nice thick sauce. I definitely recommend giving this a try and would buy it again for sure. I received an incentive to write this review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Monte's Sweet Pepper and Tomato sauce was a nice change of pace from our usual Tomato Basil / Three Cheese rotation. Usually I amp up our sauces with Italian sausage, ground beef or turkey, or garlic/veggies. This sauce doesn't need anything extra, which means it is perfect for Meatless Mondays. It's a little pricier than our usual sauce, but since it stands well on its own, it evens out. Most importantly, it passed the my kid is a picky eater test. Whew. Monte’s is probably one of my boyfriends and I favorite jarred sauces you can find in the grocery store. This sauce literally smells like sausage and peppers! This is basically a step up from Carbone, miles ahead of Raos. We’ve had it on multiple dishes and it’s a sauce we only have a few of in the cabinet.

It's a day after the promised delivery date and I have not received my Monte's sauce that I was going to use at a Friday the 13th dinner party. The tracking shows it was delivered! I assure you I never received a package. Goodluck if you order Monte's sauces through Target. Their delivery carrier sucks.
