Prequel Gleanser + SA Non-Drying Salicylic Acid Cleanser - 13.5 fl oz

This caused me to break out all over my face in little red spots that came to a teeny tiny head. I wanted to like it, but having gone through serious acne treatment as a teen into young adulthood I am not interested in acne. Perhaps if you have extremely dry skin this would be a great cleanser for you. I’m not that girl.

I wanted to love this face wash but my chin and neck broke out horribly and i hadn’t changed anything but my face wash.

This face wash made me break out so bad!! It’s marketed towards acne prone skin but has oils in it and fungal acne triggering ingredients

It honestly feels so nice on the skin. However, I rarely break out. Been using this 3-4 weeks and my skin developed cystic acne - never have had before. So sad I wanted to love it but it’s truly breaking me out

I have rosacea, inflammatory acne and dry skin. This is a game changer. You can tell Dr. Sam Ellis is not only a dermatologist but also a patient who has tried multiple products. This formulation is the perfect balance of actives to exfoliate all while nourishing your skin with the hydrating factors needed to replenish. I appreciate she only includes the essentials needed to make an effective and elegant formula. My skin is less inflamed, softer, more hydrate and my breakouts are healing faster.

This wash leaves my skin feeling so clean and even leaves my skin a little glowy. I would recommend this wash for those who struggle with acne, it is perfect for every day use to help minimize the appearance of acne.

The worst packaging which makes this unusable. The bottle is large and very slippery when wet like if using in the shower. You have to place it on the edge of the tub to pump it because it’s too hard to pump by holding it in one hand and pumping with the other because you’d need a third hand to catch the product coming out since you’d can’t hold it at the top and pump like normal. When moving the bottle to the tub like I have to do every time since I have suction cup shelves and can’t apply the extreme amount of force needed to pump this bottle, I dropped it because of how slippery it is and the nozzle broke off and can’t be fixed. Now I’m pouring it out of the top with it unscrewed but it’s messy and gets everywhere. They must not have tried this product at all before launching it… please google what market research is and do that before launching your next product, Prequel. I’m fully abled bodied and having this issue, they clearly have not even considered what this would be like for someone with an any bit of a disability like poor grip or missing an arm hand or finger.

I had high hopes for this since every single other Prequel product I've tried has been magic, but it broke me out like no bodies business. 55yo, sun damaged, normal with a chance for acne skin.

I love Gleanser so I knew this one would be great too. It's not drying like some SA cleansers are. My skin still feels great after I use it just like with Gleanser. It's also nice that you don't need to leave it on for a while before rinsing to get the full effect. I liked this way better than the Cetaphil SA cleanser and my skin is usually very sensitive and picky.

Pleasantly surprised. I have to use a gentle wash. I’ve always had dry skin. I also have fairly sensitive skin. I’m of fair complexion. This cleanser is perfect! I was concerned because of the salicylic acid, but I trusted Dr. Sam Ellis‘s recommendation and she was right on point. 10/10! It does not dry out my skin, even when I leave it on while I shower

I’ve only been using Prequel products for about a week and this, with the Multi-Acid Milk Peel have already gotten rid of whiteheads and made my oily mature skin feel soft and hydrated and reduced oiliness dramatically. A half of a pump is more than enough to cover and cleanse my face and neck so this is an incredible product for the price. I haven’t tried it in the shower yet but I think this cleanser may have changed my life

The product works well. But my bottle came opened in the mail and a bunch of product was waisted….

Enjoying this cleanser. I have one in the shower and one at the sink. No skin irritation and my husband likes it too.

I already love the original Gleanser, which I use for my morning and night face wash. I bought this as an in shower face wash and it's just as hydrating and luxurious feeling as the original Gleanser but with the added benefit of some SA to help gently exfoliate and unclog pores.

Prequel’s SA face cleanser after 2 uses the no see ums bumps on either side of my nose are gone! I can’t use this nightly. Three x’s a week is plenty. Whatever the bumps are called that you can feel, but not see, this takes care of it. My face is getting so finicky. The older I get, the more sensitive my face becomes. An occasional break out this takes of the prolonged healing. I highly recommend.

This cleanser is perfection. My face is soft and clean instead of clean and dry.! I’ve tried a couple of products and they are all excellent. Well done.

I love the normal gleanser for my face so I bought this for the KP on my arms and it’s SO GOOD!! Especially when used with the Urea lotion after I shower. More effective than any other specialized treatments with more actives that I’ve used.

Does not remove eye makeup or sunscreen. Double cleanse very drying.

I was sort of skeptical about trying this product, but genuinely this may have become a holy grail item for me. I’ve had really bad keratosis Polaris ever since I was a little kid and this product has genuinely gotten rid of about 80 to 90% of the roughness that comes with having KP within a week. Wash definitely has a different texture, but it doesn’t really bother me. It’s more of like a gel than most body washes that I’ve used. Another thing that I personally like is that it doesn’t really have a strong smell.
