Purchased this desk for my 9 year olds room. Super cute, no damage from shipping. Drawer width is 24 inches, 2 inches deep, almost 11 inches in length, and pulls out almost 6 1/2 inches (for anyone wanting those dimensions). I ordered a clear table cover mat to protect the top.

Cute affordable desk but came damaged. Gouges on desktop. (Didn’t realized until legs were attached and I flipped it over). Shipping box was fine and adequate packaging so I’m led to believe it shipped from the factory this way? Wish there was better quality control. It’s a hassle to lug this to a store or the post office to return. Phoned customer service to ask about options. Wish they could have just provided a discount on it and I would have kept it. (They said only option is to return and reorder.) They won’t be able to resell it. A loss for target, junk added to a landfill, and a hassle for me.

I got this desk for my 5 year olds room. I loved everything about it. Just wanted to warn others that it has a VERY strong chemical smell. It took about 4 days for the smell to kind of subside. But man it’s really bad for the first few days. I would suggest airing the piece outside or in a garage before opening.

I had low expectations for this desk, but I’m actually really impressed. I thought it would be very flimsy, but it’s very heavy and feels like real wood as opposed to cheap partical board. I thought a desk from Target a couple of years ago for $250 that was this exact color and this is the same exact quality for a much better price.

This is a basic, inexpensive desk that’s good to use as a table. Not much storage (just one drawer) but if you’re just looking for something basic, this is it. Not too difficult to put together. But it is a giant, heavy box so beware.
