Q: I purchases it last year and I've been using it for just a few times last year and it is not working anymore. It's fully charged though but it wouldn't turn on. How should I get it repaired?

  • A: Try charging again for 2–3 hours using a different cable and adapter. Press and hold the power button for 3–5 seconds (not just a quick press). Unplug everything and try turning it on (some units won’t start while charging). Let it fully discharge, then recharge again to reset. If unused for a long time, the battery may have degraded and won’t power on anymore.

  • A: The Dartwood Hand Warmer charges via a charging port using the included cable. Charging input: 5V / 1.0A → this means it needs a standard USB wall adapter, not an iPhone charger cable directly. The unit has a USB-A port for power bank output (to charge your phone). The charging port on the hand warmer is NOT Lightning (iPhone) — it uses a larger USB type (typically micro-USB for this model). What you need: A USB wall adapter (any phone charger with a USB port will work), then plug in the included cable. Specs to look for: 5V, at least 1A (almost all USB wall chargers meet this).

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got this HOM 2-in-1 rechargeable hand, warmer and power bank, but wish I had it for my daughter when the mornings were very chilly mornings for her long walks to medical school. This warmer heats up almost instantly, so you aren't stuck waiting around with frozen fingers while it tries to find its gumption. It is made of smooth aluminum and sturdy plastic, so it feels good in your hand and doesn't feel like a cheap toy that's going to break the first time you drop it. What I really love is that it pulls double duty. Besides keeping hands warm, it has a 5200 mAh battery that can charge up my phone if my battery gets low while I am out and about. It is small enough to slip right into a coat pocket or a bag without being bulky. Easy to use too. Press and hold power button to turn on/off, and the light indicators let you know the status. Even has low, medium and high, with high being very toasty. To charge your phone simply connect using a USB-A cord. Has a slot for a lanyard too. Great gadget and it makes a great gift!

Great for travel & early morning walks

The heat comes on almost immediately and the battery life is enough for a few hours outside. I’ve also used the powerbank feature once or twice and it charges my phone fine. Love that it's compact enough for my small belt bag.

I only received one handwarmer, which for this price seems ridiculous. I believe the title of this item is very misleading and they need to clearly state that it is only one handwarmer. That is why I am giving it a one star and will be returning.

I have raynauds

These don't seem to hold a charge very long they take a while to charge. They do warm up quite a bit, but then they die really fast so I would not buy them, but I'm also always cold.

Cool little warmer

It’s getting cooler out now so it’s useful while waiting for the bus. It does get really warm. As for charging a phone, he says it’s ‘okay’. The battery isn’t large compared to other chargers available, but it does the job. It feels nice in your hand. Asked if he’s going to keep using it, he says ‘Yes’. So this is a winner.

Good Bye to Cold Hands!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have raynauds and my hands are not just cold, they turn blue. With winter coming, I really wanted a solution to help me with my hands. This hand warmer is the perfect size to warm all my fingers. It's long lasting, which has been a problem for me in the past. This hand warmer is well made and rechargeable. I love that it's a powerband too so in the summer when my hands are fine, I have an extra portable charger. Oh, and this gets nice and toasty too!
