    Amazing what was left behind

    I am now the proud owner of two Uproot Cleaner Xtra, one on each floor. This product is amazing. I was quite surprised just how easy it was to assemble and how easy it is to use. Definitely worth the money and it does make my life with 2 cats and 1 dog so much easier.

    Didnt Last More Than 3 Months

    It worked well for the last 3 months, but it snapped down the middle of the lower plastic connector. Will not buy again, not worth the price it currently is now. Rather disappointed at how long it lasted before breaking.

    Operator error!

    Awhile back I tried this handy tool out and I wasn't overly impressed so left a three star review. It worked, okay, but wasn't the miracle most people claimed it to be. Today I decided to try it again. The secret is short strokes and lots of pressure. I am amazed at what a good job it did. The pictures below are a gallon baggie of what I pulled out of half of my living room rug. I had to stop and rest my arm but will finish tomorrow. If you have pets, this thing is a must have.

    It works!

    My carpet is more textured than the ones they show in their ads, so I was skeptical. However, the tool does get a lot of hair up. People should be aware that you have to press very hard and hold it at an acute angle. It's a workout! It's not like mopping or sweeping.

    Uproot cleaner XL

    I have n all wool rug that I hate because it sheds so much and my vacuum can’t deal with all this fibers. This eliminates a lot of those fibers so I don’t have to vacuum every day and gets a lot of the dirt out so my vacuum doesn’t have to work as hard. Truly loving this!

    It should be great

    I have the small handheld version of this and it’s amazing. It gets up an incredible amount of pet hair and is so very satisfying. So naturally I wanted to try the bigger one... but it’s just not the same. I assume it has to do with the angle of the blade and the amount of pressure that’s applied when you use it. I’ve experimented with different ways of doing it and tried to use more pressure but do not get the same results as with the small one. I usually end up sitting on the floor to use it which kind of defeats the purpose. It’s not worth the cost.

    Dog hair removal/clean

    This tool has been the best defense against my dog's hair. Being a retriever mix he has long hair so this pulls out every bit of hair so I can actually vacuum the rugs after the fact. Thanks for this amazing tool. Ps maybe the next version can have a small vacuum attached...just an idea.

    Newer model doesn't work

    I hate giving a bad review because my old one works so well. My order was upgraded to the new improved model but doesn't work. I am back to using the old hand held version while sitting on the floor.

    Requires a lot of pressure

    This thing works well. However to get it to work correctly you have to apply an aggressive amount of pressure. This seems to bend the until and concerns me on how long it will last. It is also very unrealistic to use this. My wife cannot use it effectively. She puts a decent amount of pressure on it but has no luck because you need to use a pretty insane amount of pressure for it to actually work. You can get maybe 10sq ft done before you are absolutely exhausted.

    Finally!

    My daughter ordered one for her apartment, and she doesn't even have pets! I tested hers on my floors - 2 cats, 3 dogs - and finally, finally the hair came up. My floors are clean. I'm thrilled.

    Cleaner xtra

    Didn’t remove any hair from rug.There are 2 dogs and 2 cats in this house. After trying your product with no success I vacuumed and filled the canister. Very disappointed.

    Angle is strange

    I have the small one, I wanted to try the large one. It worked on my bedroom carpet and it worked on the laminate floor in the dining room. I was impressed by how much it helped my carpet. I had swept and mopped the laminate, but there was still dog hair. I gently ran the cleaner over it and got almost every hair on the floor quickly. I definitely recommend this for pet owners.
