[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have not had the bed for very long, however, it is already getting extremely creaky and doesn’t feel as stable. I went through and tightened all the hardware again and it is still creaky. Definitely not happy with our purchase.

I got the pecan color for my daughter’s room. The box says pecan but the color absolutely does not match the website photos. In reality it’s much darker and more masculine, doesn’t match her room at all.

The bed is much darker in person. Not the nice beachy look as in the picture. It's still ok for the price. Feels solid, but it's light. The height is perfect.

Overall solid bed for the price. Took my husband and me (we’re not very handy) about an hour and a half to assemble it, so not too shabby. There were a few dings in the wood, but nothing too noticeable. Since there are only a few slats, I also ordered a set of vertical slats from a different company to put over them. It feels a lot sturdier now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Headboard panel is veneered fiberboard, not solid wood as advertised. Disappointed, as the main reason I bought it was to avoid fiberboard furniture.

The bed met my expectations, I felt the quality was great for the price. However, the assembly constructions were confusing. I was sent the wrong piece ""” metal hardware 20734 comes in two variations but I received two pieces in the same orientation. Each orientation should have its own part number, and because they don't, it was incredibly confusing to talk to support during our assembly (support initially told me it does not come in two variations, which is untrue, they were probably just looking at the same assembly instructions I have). It took several days to get someone to figure out the part I needed (my husband had to send a picture and a video after several emails), and all of this could have been avoided if the hardware part numbers had been uniquely assigned.

Love this bed - great quality and easy to put together.

Overall the product is Ok, you get what you pay for. However, the assembly could easily be simplified. It is not a 20 min assembly, as some suggest. This is due to many different parts and lack of pre drilled holes to easily assemble. Again, good product quality, but they must simplify assembly.

Beautiful and sturdy. We have only been using it for a couple months, but it is exactly what I was searching for. Putting it together took about an hour with clear directions. The wood is solid and pretty. We bought pecan and I would buy again.

We looked for so long to find a heavy-duty, high quality bed for our littles that was strong enough for them to grow into as well as for us to sit on with them for storytime at night— and we not only found that here but it was also at a steal in my opinion for the price! The beds (we bought two for the twins) are beautiful and they LOVE their big girl beds. Incredibly well made, very happy with this purchase.

Bed is sturdy which I appreciate! But the predrilled hole for one of the screws that is very visible has a large crack. Unfortunate that it doesn't look very nice. Did take two adults about an hour to construct which is in-line with what the instructions stated.

This is my first purchase with Max & Lilly and probably my last if the issues with my order are not resolved. I purchased this bed frame which arrived 1 week ago. I immediately checked all the parts and noticed some damage from shipping and some defects from manufacturing. The white wood is missing paint on many of the wood pieces. It appears sections of wood did not receive paint and other pieces didn't receive final coat. There are black smudges on some areas of wood and you can see the wood grain through the paint which looks like a zebra against the thin white coat of paint. I understand that sometimes errors occur in manufacturing, but my main concern is this companies lack of interest in making things right. I immediately sent an email with my concerns. The website indicated that it takes 3 to 5 days for a response. After not hearing from anyone for 5 days, I called customer service. The Rep didn't seem to care about my concerns and told me that he would respond to my email and forward it to the correct person. He sent an email to me referring to their return policy which is you pay for shipping and 20% restocking fee and return 30 days from receipt. I had told him that the product appears defective, but he seemed to indicate that regardless of the defects, I would have to pay for returning the bed frame. I stated that I would like to keep the bed frame if the defective parts are replaced. I didn't hear back from anyone. I called again and spoke to another Rep. She told me that the email I sent was sent to the wrong person and she would resend it to the correct person and someone would get back to me by the end of the day. Nobody got back to me by the end of the day. I feel like I'm being ignored and they don't stand behind their product. On the instruction manual, they state, "We stand behind our products 100%" "Your satisfaction is our #1 Goal", "If your order is not perfect, or if you would like any assistance, please feel free to contact us... we are happy help". There words don't match their behavior. The only positive comment I have about the bed frame is that most of the pieces are real wood of good quality with the exception of the headboard which appears to be particle board. I've never experienced this extreme lack of customer service and lack of standing behind a product. I've purchased other wood furniture from other company's who were very helpful such as Delta Children's Furniture. If items were damaged, they replaced them without any hassles. I never experienced defects with their furniture. Hopefully, they will resolve my concerns so I can write a positive review.

The wood seems cheap but the bed was put together fine.

Our daughter is obsessed with this new bed! It was easy to set up, super sturdy construction, and a beautiful addition to her bedroom. Couldn’t recommend higher!
