He loves his curls and never wants to let them go. We live in the high sierra and this product is the best shampoo we have ever used for him. His curls respond so well to this and his hair was so much easier to brush. It is now his favorite shampoo and will be our go to moving forward.

After washing with my dandruff shampoo I would use this on mid to ends to help tame the frizz and it worked! I love the smell, it's so refreshing. I will definitely be purchasing again.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] I have never used any Ouidad products so I was excited to try their Advanced Climate Control Defrizzing Shampoo. The shampoo itself has a pleasant light flowery scent as well as typical shampoo consistency that lathered up nicely. Now being in the south, it gets humid here. I have a slight wave in my hair that gets frizzy and it's annoying. So I was hoping this shampoo would help this. Unfortunately, my hair did not like this shampoo. It dried my hair out. I only tried it one time and wasn't willing to sacrifice by using it again. Perhaps it works better on hair that is not fine. I would definitely give this product a thumbs down.

My thin waves are frizzy, and although it took care of some frizz, my hair still remains frizzy. This shampoo doesn't work for my low porosity hair unfortunately, especially since it's sulfate-free.

This Quidad Defrizzing Shampoo left my hair feeling extra soft and clean. It did actually limit the amount of frizz my hair had and brought out some of the small waves in my hair! The shampoo doesn't have a specific smell but it smells clean and leaves the hair smelling clean as well. If you want to avoid having frizzy hair I would definitely recommend this shampoo!

This was my first time using Ouidad and I was really impressed. I do double shampoos and I felt this shampoo got a somewhat decent lather on the first pass and a strong lather on the second pass. I didn't notice any sore of fragrance but my husband noticed after I dried my hair that it smelled much better than my go to shampoo. After drying, my hair looked smooth and stayed smooth for multiple days even with the high humidity in my area.

It has very clear instructions on how to use it and it's basically like any regular shampoo. I do think it helps with defrizzing a little but not as much as I would've hopped, but I do have extremely frizzy hair so it might be that. I've used this shampoo over several washes while keeping my routine mostly consistent. The scent is definitely noticeable and perfumey, but I actually like it. It isn't overpowering, doesn't linger heavily after washing, and didn't trigger my fragrance or chemical sensitivities. One of the things I noticed right away is that it creates a really nice, thick lather. I don't need to use as much product as I expected because it lathers up so well and still feels like it's thoroughly cleansing my hair. It also rinses out easily, and my hair feels very clean and lightweight afterward. Across multiple washes, I consistently noticed that my hair dried faster than usual and felt lighter and less weighed down. My curls also looked more elongated than expected — instead of forming tight, springy ringlets like usual, they tended to form more stretched-out, defined waves with some ringlet shape still present in areas. I also noticed an improvement in smoothness and frizz control, especially through the mid-lengths and ends. My hair looked more cohesive and "clumped" in a more uniform way at times, though results varied slightly between washes. During the first one or two washes, my baby hairs and shorter strands actually appeared more curly and defined than usual, though that effect seemed less noticeable later on. Over the course of the week, my hair also seemed to hold onto more of its natural wave pattern instead of going mostly straight or losing shape by the end of the week. Overall, this shampoo gave me a mix of expected and unexpected results. I did notice smoother, more controlled hair with reduced frizz in the lengths, which I liked. However, I didn't expect the degree of elongation or how much faster my hair would dry. Overall, I found it to be a positive experience and appreciated how it performed across multiple washes.

I think I could deal with the scent, but I don't like that my hair feels sticky and flat. I think it helped a bit with the frizz, but I don't like how it feels, my hair feels dirty after washing instead of feeling clean and fresh. I have fine hair and it wasn't a good match for my hair.

My family has curly hair and this help defrizzing and managing it well throughout the day. I didn't notice any residue after each hair wash. I did notice my son's curly hair was easier to manage. I love the dispensing and able to control how much product I want or is needed. Smells amazing and I didn't notice any harsh chemical smell.
