I have THICK hair and it’s pretty dense but I only needed a quarter size amount for half of my head. The lather is incredible! 10/10 definitely recommend.

I used to have a tablespoon+ of hair from detangling, but it’s diminished significantly with Pattern. I didn’t need more than a quarter sized amount to get amazing rich, luscious lather to caress my hair.
Disappointed bad. Feels and smells like Pantene.

It didn't feel luxurious, and I had a terrible time trying to detangle while I shampooed. The smell was clean but reminded me so much of my Pantene shampoos from adolescence. The only difference is that it didn't strip my hair of oils, but it didn't do anything for my strands except clean them, which is the obvious job of a shampoo, but I couldn't gotten that with just about any brand. I have 4B porous hair.

This is the first shampoo that works on my mixed 2b/2c/3a hair that doesn't irritate my scalp. As a Celiac it is really hard to find curl products that don't have gluten (wheat or oats) which cause hives on my scalp. It was a big deal to have a shampoo make it past the travel size to a full bottle. My scalp is healthy and my curls are softer with better definition, never weighed down, and it pairs perfectly with the Lightweight Conditioner. I am so grateful to final have access to such wonderful products. ♡

My hair and scalp is super clean after shampooing once. I use a palm sized amount. Most “Hydrating” shampoos still strip the hair and leave it dry. This one doesn’t strip my hair. I am able to detangle with the shampoo in my hair. Been using for a year, no breakage. I pray pray PRAY that TRACEE & FRIENDS never change the formula. This is my miracle brand. Unique Hair Type: Fine Strands. Thick Density, Black hair bleached to level 8, Tight S shaped curls (3c), Bra strap Length.

I have two stars instead of one because When i first tried this product it seemed like my hair loved it . Used it for about 2-3 years, but now idk if something has changed in the ingredients but my scalp gets extremely itchy dry and flakey after using it now and i also have a ton of hair falling out when i shower now. So now i have to repair my scalp . So i decided its time to throw it away and try something new :(
