Repulsive. Take it off the shelf.
It doesn’t even deserve one star. This was the most disgusting thing I’ve ever had the displeasure of consuming. Absolutely horrendous. Bug spray? Hair spray? Gasoline? I truly don’t know, but it’s offensive how awful it is.

one of the worse things i've ever had the displeasure of trying. there's a terrible aftertaste and the general taste and smell is directly from the petroleum processing plant. i'm normally ok with funky aftertastes with other protein snacks and sugar alternatives but this is on a new level. would refund it if i could.

Yuck, what is this?
I was surprised by this syrup this morning… unfortunately it wasn’t a good surprise. For me, the flavor closely resembles watered down sweetened citric acid- like lemon/orange with the strange taste of the natural sweeteners overpowering any vanilla flavor that may be in the syrup. It could be my taste buds, it could be a bad batch, or the recipe itself is bad. I just know that I returned these right away because I couldn’t stomach the flavor. (One word: Yuck!) I usually don’t read reviews on products like this, but it seems like I’m not the only one who has issues with the flavor. I’m grateful Target took care of the issue and accepted my return. Hopefully G&G takes a look at this syrup recipe or the batch itself because it seems like something is terribly, terribly wrong.

I was using vanilla extract in coffee to flavor but unfortunately…I have a sweet tooth and I did require something more sweet. I’ve been enjoying this to flavor my coffee so far and while I usually dislike sugar-free stuff due to the taste, this one is not so bad, probably because it’s stevia and not aspartame. (Personally I dislike aspartame.) I use less than 1 tablespoon for my coffee (8-10oz depending on milk) though. If you use a lot it absolutely sours and sweetens the coffee/espresso unbearably.
