It leaves a slight white cast on me and if not blended properly makes my makeup pill slightly. I'm still trying to learn how to use it. Murad super active moisturizer spf 50. Mattifying oil and pore control is a lightweight matte sunscreen that works great under makeup. There is no cakey feeling. My pores look smaller. I haven't had any breakouts associated with its use. I love the way it feels on my skin. It is so soft and luxurious feeling. Should be used daily for best results. spf for your face is really important, and 50 is a very good amount. I put it on on the morning before my makeup. It takes a couple minutes to set and dry. Then my makeup goes on super smooth and feels fresh all day. I received this product free for my review.

The scent of the product is super subtle and not chemically or sunscreen like at all. When you apply it the formula goes on thick but blends very smooth. This cream mattifying moisturizer aims to deliver hydration while helping to combat shine. The addition of salicylic acid helps to minimize pores while SPF 50 (chemical) protects the skin. The formula also introduces oil trapping microspheres that matiffy, smooth, and blur all day. I will say upon initial application I didn't think I was going to be a fan of this SPF but that thought quickly changed as the product absorbed into the skin. Firstly, packing is A+. I love the pump mechanism. The consistency is more on the thick side of a cream serum hybrid. I have combo skin and initially I didn't think I would like this as the consistency wasn't my favorite to apply. It does give a little bit of a shine upon initial application, which you can see in my swatch, but absolutely no white cast. The real magic, and what made me fall in love with the formula, was the few minutes it took to sink into the skin. I was amazed despite how thick the formula was how quickly it absorbed and it felt like I had nothing on the skin. The shine went away immediately, thank you microspheres, and my skin did appear matte and blurred. It's almost like it turned into a powder finish because my skin felt powder baby smooth. The results I witnessed shortly after application made it an immediate favorite and at the front of my sunscreen rotation. The skin felt hydrated, looked matte, and was protected from the sun. All while introducing salicylic acid which was something I was looking to add into my routine. Overall, a win for me.
