Q: The nutrition label doesn’t add up. The package is 4 oz. There are 4 servings. A serving size is 2.5 cups? The package is only 4 oz. You’re saying you get 10 cups of popcorn out of a 4 oz package?

submitted by Drmichone - 10 months ago
  • A: Popcorn can be measured by weight or volume and as kernels or popped. Sounds like it was kernels in cups and popped in ounces.

submitted byDandoona - 2 months ago
  • A: Yes- the Nutritional Label on the Sea Salt and the White Cheddar flavors DO state exactly what the OP is questioning, which doesn’t make sense. However, the nutritional label on the Kettle Corn flavor states Serving Size: 1 cup & approx. 5 servings in bag. Caloric value per serving is the same on all bags (which doesn’t make sense for all three either obviously). First person to reply to OP’s query didn’t bother to view or compare all three nutritional labels before responding.

  • A: I don't what your looking at but none of what you said is what the nutrition label on the bag says.

Q: Don’t like this all. Very weird taste and texture . Not flavorful . Gross. So disappointed.

  • A: I disagree. This popcorn is very good. Btw this forum is for questions not reviews.

  • A: Agree 💯 tried it today. I. Grossed out. Not wgat I expected.

Q: Who owns this company?

submitted by Girliegurl - 3 months ago
  • A: Khloé Kardashian is the founder and owner of Khloud Protein Popcorn

submitted bySewalker - 3 months ago

Q: Does this popcorn have hulls?

submitted by Steph47 - 8 months ago
  • A: Like the little seeds? Mostly no, I eat a whole package in one sitting and maybe get a displeasing hard thing like once or twice.

submitted bySiv - 6 months ago

Q: The nutrition label doesn’t add up. The package is 4 oz. There are 4 servings. A serving size is 2.5 cups? The package is only 4 oz. What is the truth? How do you make such a large mistake on your label/packaging?

submitted by Drmichone - 10 months ago
  • A: Thanks for the question, popcorn labels can definitely look confusing! The bag is 4 oz by weight, but popcorn is super light and airy, so a small weight fills a huge amount of volume. That’s why each serving is listed as 2.5 cups - the FDA requires popcorn serving sizes to be measured by cups (volume) instead of ounces. So even though the bag only weighs 4 oz, it still adds up to about 10 cups of popcorn, which is completely normal for this category. Nothing was mislabeled, it’s just a funny quirk of how popcorn works!

Q: Nutritional labeling is very confusing/misleading between flavors. Sweet and Salty serving size is is 1 cup, the other flavors are 2.5 and 3 cups. What's going on here?

submitted by CoffeeCrazy - 10 months ago
  • A: The serving size is based on weight (grams). The cheddar and kettle weigh more per kernel since they have more flavoring added.

submitted bySophie - 6 months ago

Q: Is the popcorn gluten free?

submitted by Daughter1 - 11 months ago
  • A: Yes the bag states it is gluten free.

    Not for me

Yuck. Doesn’t taste like kettle corn at all. It is so powdery I have to drink water to get it down. I will be sticking to my skinny pop kettle corn and just drinking a protein shake. Protein and popcorn don’t mix

KHLOUD sweet and salty is honestly a snack that hits every craving!I can honestly say that it is the best popcorn I have had.It offers so much flavor as the sweetness doesn't over power the saltiness and vice versa. The popcorn is super is light and airy and the pieces are evenly coated. Its such a great snack for class or movie nights. Its definitely worth a snack trying

There are way better ways to snack on protein than this

This just has a weird texture, the protein powder is a miss. I don’t know why we’d buy a celebrity popcorn anyway… I got caught up in the protein hype.

    Very bad

It was the absolute worst packaged popcorn I have ever tried. Kettle corn is a crunchy sweet/ salty version of popcorn. This product is soft and covered in powder. It had an odd after taste as well. My family shared my opinion and we threw it out. Maybe kettle corn is not a good flavor for the protein powder treatment.

Didn’t know how plain popcorn would hide the protein but it’s very tasty! Can’t go wrong with the white cheddar but I love that is has olive oil. Soo good.

    Too chalky

I had high hopes for this Protein Popcorn. I grabbed my first few pieces, threw them in my mouth and was instantly disappointed. There was no kettle popcorn taste or crunch. All I could focus on was the chalky texture attached to each piece. My daughter and husband said the same thing. Needless to say, the garbage was very happy to except it.

    Chalky Residue

It tasted good - not much flavor but not bad. My issue is I think the popcorn has protein in it because it is covered in milk protein isolate. It makes it have a really gross residue all over it that coats your mouth and fingers. And not in like a tasty, hot Cheetos type of way. It’s more of like a protein powder, chalky type of way. I’ll eat it but I probably won’t repurchase.
