I’ve just pulled my third “successful” shot and I’m already getting the hang of it! It looked intimidating at first, but it’s actually really easy to use. My first shot was packed too tight and the machine shut off—turns out that’s a safety feature, which is nice. It’s simple, well-designed, and feels solid. Also, the packaging was fantastic. Super easy to unpack and set up. Overall, if you’re new to espresso but love coffee, this is a great machine to start with.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, this KitchenAid espresso machine is AMAZING. I had no idea I needed an espresso machine until this showed up at my door. The built-in burr grinder is whisper-quiet and drops just the right amount for single or double shots. Even if you’re new to this whole espresso thing, the controls are clear, the machine heats up fast, and there isn’t a learning curve that’ll make you want to qui. It honestly looks great on my counter and is not too cumbersome, makes great espresso, and feels like your own little café in a box. My literal only caveat, because I had SUCH a hard time finding them, was that there are more filter baskets stored UNDER the machine. I have no idea why that information did not register to me. Just an FYI!

Took a little bit of getting used to and cleaning is a little tedious but overall it makes great espresso, the grinder is super convenient. i'm interested to see how it holds up in the long run but for now i would recommend this for sure.

Gave consistent 10 gram grinds for my desired 1 shot. I was able to get a full bodied shot from my specialty coffee(a natural style medium roast from Antigua, Guatemala) pulling out the fruity notes sought after from that style of coffee. The packaging it came in was a 10/10 minimal plastic, NO crumbing Foam aka no big mess. I appreciate the cardboard handles especially since it was done to make sure if you are alone it is very easy to open. I really appreciate the handle on the water tank. It really means a lot especially if you have small hands. The instructions are simple to follow when setting up. I mean the only thing better would be if they came in a lavender purple . But in terms of functionality and performance it can’t get any better. Oh and of course my coffee tastes good!!! The storage is really nice . Who ever designed this really thought out function, storage and taste.

This machine was easy to setup for a first timer, following the easy setup guide that comes with the machine. It’s a stainless steel restaurant quality machine with lots of options and espresso baskets to brew your favorite expresso just like you like. The grinder is super quite compared to so many products on the market and you can control how much grinds each make. The stamper is heavy duty quality and easy to use. This machine does take more labor for the coffee maker but the end result is worth it. Moving the grinds over to the brew area is easy to insert. With the click of a button my expresso was brewing and ready in just a few minutes. I love that there are several basket filters included with the machine to all you to control the strength of your expresso. The milk frother included with the stainless steel frothing cup that is included is awesome and allows you to control your froth and temp. Overall great machine and can’t wait to continue to use it!

It's semi-automatic, which for me makes me feel like I'm really making the coffee (fully auto feels like cheating and not so much of an experience, l'd probably go back to 100% manual first) but it's soooo easy to use that it's no problem when I'm in a hurry or sleepy. I weigh out beans for each cup because my husband and I like different coffees, and the grinder works great with way less mess than my old standalone burr grinder. The frother is easy to use and clean. We've switched beans many times and it doesn't take much effort to dial in and get the flavor right. The cleaning cycle takes a good bit of time but I only need to do that about every 6-8 weeks depending on usage. I'm just thrilled with this thing and still look forward to using it every morning.

On day one, after a few test shots to dial in settings, I was able to make a latte nearly on par with my favorite coffee shop which felt pretty incredible. With the right beans and a bit more practice I am confident I’ll meet or exceed their results! I reduced my review from 5 to 4 stars because the reservoir does have a tendency to leak if not perfectly seated on its base- and it did leak all over my countertop and floor on its first night in my kitchen.
