Magnolia Table Chocolate Chip Cookies Frozen Cookie Dough - 16oz

I really wanted to like these cookies. I followed the directions but they just were not good!

All the reviews saying “odd taste” don’t know real food. This isn’t processed garbage. Best frozen cookies you can buy at the store. Please do not sell to private equity Joanna!

These cookies are sooo good! Have to be one of the best pre made cookies on the market and the ingredients are great! Not sure why the reviews are so bad I guess people aren’t used to real flavor anymore.

Expensive and has a weird after taste after eating them

This was by far the worst cookie dough I've ever tried. First, why are the cookies so dark? They look like they might have cocoa in them, they are that dark. But I baked them according to package instructions. Waited an hour before trying them. Almost chipped a tooth trying to bite into them! They were rock hard and tasted like sweet sawdust. So disappointed in these. On the box it says Joanna likes these with whipped cream... she must be soaking them in the cream to get them to be edible. These were too expensive to be this AWFUL.

These are pretty good if you need something quick for dessert, but there is better frozen cookie dough on the market. I do love the amount of chocolate, and I can tell the ingredients are mostly natural and there isn’t a lot of filler, but these cookies lack soul and come out with a cardboard-y aftertaste.

Odd taste we could not figure out. Maybe a different type of flour. One and done for us. Definitely not worth the high price.

Never wrote a review on anything. But just had to tell you all that these cookies suck. And i wish i could get my money back.

These were really good. Family loved them. I did the full 18 minutes but then did an extra 5. Definitely a firmer cookie but great taste.

Was excited to try these after seeing an influencer say how great they were. I picked the chocolate chip variety but was underwhelmed. I think for the price, they would taste much better. They were just okay. Save your money.

These definitely aren’t just any frozen cookie! Holy moly!! These are some of the best all time frozen ready to bake cookies I’ve ever had- and I’ve got a cookie connoisseur (AKA my son) rating it a 10 out of 5 and asking when we can get more. But in all seriousness, these are superb!! These taste like the dough was freshly made and then flash frozen and then boxed up for you to make at home- or what my grandma would make when I’d visit as a kid. These are fabulous in every way possible and if I can offer any advice on how to enjoy them it’s fresh out of the oven while they’re still warm and gooey!

I was very happy to find a premade cookie without any artificial coloring or flavor. So often there are so many chemicals added to name brand break and bake cookies that I can’t find one I can eat without getting ill or having a migraine from it. These are heavy on the chocolate which I prefer. Depending on your preference, they come out chewy or crispy. Delicious both ways! They are higher priced than other cookies, but quality is worth it in my opinion.

Lacked flavor and didn’t raise in the oven. For $12 don’t bother

These frozen cookies were super easy to prepare. Preheat the oven, plop these on a baking tray and wait 15 mins. I baked these in my toaster oven (because I love my toaster oven) and these came out great even though the cookies ended up touching each other. I love how they were not too sweet. I baked them for 16 mins in the toaster oven and these were a bit more chewy than I prefer, so I'll try to take them out at 14 mins next time.

I liked the chocolate. Lacked favor, odd texture and after taste.

These are pretty good chocolate chip cookies for when you want a quick and easy treat! Came in cute packaging, easy to follow instructions and warm chocolate chip cookies, ready in less than 20 minutes. They are a good sized cookie and had a soft middle and crunchy outside - just the way I like them! I was hoping they’d taste a little more like fresh cookies, rather than frozen cookie dough, but they were still tasty. Not sure I’d buy them again, for the price, but a nice treat this time.

Husband and I enjoyed a delicious meal at Magnolia Table on a trip to Waco last year, so I was excited to see these cookies at Target. Yes, they are pricey, but I figured being Magnolia Table, they had to be good. I had high hopes, but unfortunately, they missed the mark for me. I should know better than to think the finished product would look like the chocolate chip cookies pictured on the front of the box. We followed the directions on the package, but unfortunately, they do not look like the same cookie. Chocolate chips in our cookies were more like chocolate chunks. My husband loves chocolate, and he even said the ratio of cookie and chocolate was disproportionate. Way too much chocolate. Very overpowering and didn't care for the aftertaste.. The portioned dough pieces were definitely larger than other frozen cookie dough brands making for good sized cookies, but the taste and texture is pretty much the same. You just can't beat homemade. Won't be purchasing again.
