Not what it used to be!
I have worn Milani for a very long time. I have owned shades that are now no longer made ( Bella Bellini which is beautiful). I have had three different iterations of dolce pink…that is how long I have been devoted to this brand of blush. I can say now after purchasing three of the new ones ( panacotta, sparkling rose and dolce pink ) that the blush has changed for the worst. The texture, grip, longetivity and shades not what they used to be. I am so sad about this. This was always a no thinking repeat buy for me. These are no longer the quality that I expect. They also, have more orange in this line up and the pinks are garish. I don’t know who is making the decisions but I will not be replacing anymore.

Formula Change?
Either they reformulated or I got a bad one. It seems reformulation because there has been a packaging change. The old Dolce Pink was my absolute favorite. This new version felt so cheap. Color was off. Patchy. Lots of fallout. Way too much pigment. The opposite of what I bought last year.

I liked that the blush was not heavy but the color was too pale. Adding more increases the shine in the blush but not the color. I also find that the powder breaks down and gets all over my makeup bag, almost dusty.

Great Texture and Color Payout

I just swiped a small amount on my makeup brush and it was enough to cover both cheeks and then some. So a little goes a long way. Color is beautiful. Was afraid it was going to be too bronze looking but ended up looking very nice with my skin tone. Texture was smooth, creamy and shimmery but nothing too crazy. I really enjoyed this product and how it turned out.

It's Changed
I have Luminoso that is an over a year old and bought the new reformulated version of Luminoso. The old version is a pinky peach color and the reformulated version is just peach colore. The old version is smooth in the pan and the reformulated version has some grittiness in the blush.

Pink Panna Cota
The pink panna cota color is very similar to a high end “rosy glow” blush. The color is beautiful and will be my new go to blush. It gives a glowy finish that does not have glitter but gives a soft dimensional look without it being too flat or matte. I also have dolce pink and it’s also a beautiful color on my skin tone.
