Voluminous results

The scent is light and pleasant. The gel liquid is thick and a little goes a long way. It has a volumizing effect and doesn't seem to dry out my hair. Good for combination or oily hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this shampoo a lot! I’ve been using the shampoo, conditioner, and the volumizing serum spray for about a month now. Love the scent and how my hair still smells good a day or 2 after washing it. Lathers really nicely snd a little goes a long way so you don’t need a lot. The last picture is after I used all 3. My hair feels really soft after and I do notice my hair looking a little less flat than before. I recommend if you’re looking for light volume!

A great easy shampoo for volume
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a great new product launch from Kristen Ess hair that I got to try via Influenster & I’ve gotta say, I’m impressed to try the whole system (shampoo, conditioner and styling). Usually it’s hard to know how a line was meant to work without using the whole intended lineup. First up, I tried the shampoo on my long length, color treated hair. It was a thick, pearlescent creamy shampoo, with a soft, slightly powdery, clean feminine leaning scent. I enjoyed it. It lathered up in a nice thick creamy foam and did a good job of cleansing without feeling like it was stripping my color. It wasn’t drying and felt good. My hair felt clean and soft. No qualms or issues here, I’d use it again. There weren’t any bells of whistles, it was just a nice experience. It felt clean and shiny upon drying, I didn’t notice any specific added volume with the shampoo alone (because I used the whole system) so I can’t speak on that. But the shampoo portion of the system was without issue.

Clean boost without the residue

Shiny hair, not a ton of extra volume
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Was really excited to try this product because who can complain about extra volume?? I loved the chic bottle packaging - it gave the product such a luxurious feel. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the smell but appreciated that it wasn’t overwhelmingly fragranced. As for the actual product and formula, it lathered beautifully and I found that it left my hair feeling very clean and shiny. I can’t say that it lived to its claims of leaving hair voluminous so if that’s specifically what you’re looking to get the product for, it might not be the best choice. It’s great for just cleaning the hair and would be perfect to travel with too.
