The best fan I've ever owned
I have a small city apartment and air circulation has always been a problem. No longer! This fan's range spans gale-force to gentle meadow breeze. It's worth the price.

Best box fan ever!
I bought this about two weeks ago to push cool air into a room with a wood stove and create convective currents that distribute heat throughout the house. I was using two other box fans to do this but they were noisy making the tv hard to hear. It provides better air movement on setting 65 than both my other fans do on high while being much quieter. Because of this I have gotten rid of both other fans and am able to set it up further away from the tv. Best fan ever and, providing it holds up, Vornado has a customer for life.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fan is so cute and versatile; it is not bulky, very slim and I also really liked the colors of the fan. It is easy to work, loved the button features it has which gives is easy access to change the settling and to power on/off. It also has multiple settings, and the speeds seems good for what we used it for, which seems to be an all over win to me and the needs my family and I have during the days that the extra fan is needed in rooms.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Honestly, the BEST box fan I have ever seen or used. It has so many different speeds and on the highest speed, it is insane how much air it puts out. It’s pretty quiet on the lower speeds. It’s lightweight and I love the timer.

Essentially a portable, lightweight AC

Our upstairs bedroom has ZERO air flow so it's perfect for circulating the air, especially when it's hot outside. It's also easy to move around. It has various speeds for different uses (air flow vs ac).

The noise level is slim to none. The airflow is great! The stand on the back allows you to angle the fan, and there is also a place where you can wrap the cord. I would recommend!

Perfect box fan

The Vornado Model 80X High Velocity Box Fan was perfect during hot summer temperatures. It is energy efficient, ultra portable with a kick stand, durable and features 99 different levels. Now 99 is super loud and feels like an airplane blowing right at you. It does decrease with a push of a button and it gets quieter around the 40 and below range. The perfect fan with 99 options.

Fantastic All-Purpose Box Fan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vornado 80X fan has been a real pleasure to live with. I am in deep south Texas and even with A/C, it can get very warm and muggy indoors in the late afternoons and evenings. We run dehumidifiers and floor fans as needed to help keep the load off our AC units and to create airflow for the people and pets in the house. I’ve bought and used a lot of fans over the years. When I say this is THE BEST box fan I’ve ever had, I mean it. First, it’s very well-made. This is no cheap plastic fan. It’s substantial, solid and stable (it has a kickstand). More importantly, though, it is very quiet, very easy to use and digitally adjustable, and it moves an absolute TON of cool air. It’s easy to clean and easily adjustable. All in all, it’s wonderful and I’m delighted to give it an unequivocal thumbs-up. I will definitely pay attention to any Vornado products going forward. Thanks for the opportunity to try such a nice product.

Powerful

It looks nicer than the box white box fans that used to be the only option. Lots of levels for power. Only minor negative is when it is all the way up it is a little bit loud. But cools the room down and isn’t an eye sore!

Moves TONS of air.
We have this at the base of our stairs to help our air-conditioning make cool the 2nd floor. We had a similar size Lasco fan in the same spot and this blows it away. It's a bit loud when set to 99, but at 80 the noise is reasonable for a strong fan while easily still moving more air than the old fan. The design is a very nice secondary benefit. Classiest box fan I've ever seen. This is our second Vornado fan and they're proving to be excellent purchases.
