I’ve had my silver swan since 2004! 20 years! Worth every penny, works great, and it’s beautiful too!

I bought it about a month ago. So far, I love it. The only constructive criticism is that the handle that is used to carry the fan from one room to another is designed poorly. This is not a deal breaker, but I hope the Vornado engineers are listening. The handle is WAY too close to the back of the fan. It need to be set back a few inches so you can get your fingers wrapped around it. Secondly, the handle itself seems a bit 'sharp' and uncomfortable. I'm not sure why they didn't round the edges off. In general, I love this fan.

It’s a really nice fan. But it vibrates and makes a terrible noise while running. I can’t leave it on at night because it’ll keep me awake.

I bought this fan as I like the style. Upon turning it on it was immediately clanky, rattling and noisy. I couldn't hear the TV at all. The only speed that doesn't rattle away is the highest speed. It is really bad!

I bought two of these fans to get me through the interim period, before AC was really necessary. After receiving the first one, and seeing it perform, I had to order a second one for my guest bedroom. Can’t deny my guests. And, when I turn it to the high setting, it will literally, blow the sheets off the bed.

The immediate observation about the fan (beyond how heavy it is) is that it cannot be positioned to blow at an upward angle. If the fan is placed on the floor, it can only be angled up a tiny amount. It looks like it could be angled up more, but the mount solidly resists. The more serious issue is that it doesn't oscillate smoothly; in one direction it gets stuck for half a second and then makes a distracting "plink" sound and continues. I couldn't sleep while it was running.

We recently purchased this fan. It is quiet and pushes a lot of air. Additionally, we really like its "retro" styling.

Purchased after reading wirecutter review, gorgeous looking fan, sadly, rattles upon start up until at speed and rattles after turn off until at full stop, am too irritated to look into it, also, feel the low speed is too fast and the fan itself a bit large for intended use, but that is my problem…

I bought two of these and the first one makes a lot of noise as it oscillates back and forth. All fans make a little noise, but this one kept me up at night. The second fan made an awful noise, as if there is a screw loose inside, rattling as the fan moves. Both fans are a major disappointment.

Love this fan. Great quality and are nice looking. Bought 2 right after Hurricane Harvey and they’re still running great. I keep them on 24/7. This one is slightly larger.

I love the vintage look of this fan. It is sturdy and well-made, very powerful, a high-quality piece of machinery that does not take up too much space. I am very pleased with this purchase.

I bought this fan a couple years ago during an unbearable summer in which the AC alone was not enough. I had already owned a few other Vornado products and love the quality, but this one goes beyond. The design is spectacular and the colors are perfect for my apartment. Not only is it powerful in its function, it is also aesthetically pleasing! It operates pretty quietly for this type of fan and the wind speed is terrific, with great coverage. My only beef with this product is the cleaning; the grid is pretty annoying to take out and even more to put back. The screw is set way too deep into the crevice and the plastic is too hard around it, making it a challenge to open and close. Please start sending a little screwdriver that is appropriate for the product (for this price it should be a given) or redesign it.

I had looked at this several times before deciding to buy. Overall very pleased. Looks fantastic and the output is so great I keep it on low most of time. I only gave it 4 stars because the fan makes some noise. Isolated the noise to the oscillating button. Seems to not be centered and vibrates off the side of the hole.

I bought the 10" SS for my Mom. I am a vintage fan collector and have many Vornado products in my home. Mom loves the light weight, and the quiet performance of this fan.

I have purchased two of these fans. They are so well made and super stylish - they go with all styles of home decor. It is quiet when it oscillates and moves the air very well! I love it and have given as gifts to friends.

This is my second Vornado Swan fan. The first I bought over 15 years ago. These fans are not only good looking but the build is superb. Would highly recommend!
