Unique flavor profile for canned tuna
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband loves all fish and we are particularly fond of this brand. He said the tuna was good but not nearly as good as their mackerel or salmon. The texture was firm, the soy flavor was mild and a slightly sweet. It's definitely better than other canned tuna brands that he's tried. He ate it solo and with a club cracker. He suggested it would go well with some rice or something extra versus right out of a can. Overall, he said 3.5 out of 5 stars.

okay, pass
I like these brand a lot. I'm Asian and this flavor is okay. You get a little hint of soy but no ginger. I would not get it again.

Tasty and flavorful albacore tuna
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a big fan of the Fishwife brand, I was excited to try this soy and ginger variety and it didn’t disappoint! I added the tuna to a recipe I make often with rice, egg, green onion, etc. and it was really delicious. The packaging is always fun as well. Overall, I would definitely buy this flavor again!

Family favorite with a subtle yet addictive taste!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was the best tin of tuna we have ever had! It was a resounding 10/10 from every member of our family - which surprised us, since the flavor combo sounded a little out there & upon opening the can, it looked more like something our cat would have enjoyed (iykyk). BUT, happy to report that looks are not everything & this was a fabulously balanced combo that was not too salty (which was our main concern prior to tasting). Hurray for unique & adventurous flavor pairings!

Delicious flavor combination
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love Fishwife products and the packaging artwork. The soy ginger flavoring is so good therefore, this is not the kind of tuna you drain. It’s so tasty and flaky, you can very easily eat it straight out of the can. I was surprised to see mirin as one of the ingredients because it’s definitely not used enough and a fabulous addition to this flavor combination. Fishwife is a premium food and costly for the size so it’s definitely a splurge.

Tasty tinned albacore tuna
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a step above your typical canned or tinned albacore tuna fish! It has a mild soy ginger flavor that did not overwhelm the taste of the fish itself. You could easily cook this to meld the flavor into an Asian inspired dish, or use as is. The packaging is beautiful. That said, the tin is very small.

Delicious soy ginger albacore tuna
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by this product since I’m not someone who purchases canned fish besides sardines but the flavor really stood out to me. It has a very delicious soy ginger taste and balances so well with the albacore tuna. It wasn’t fishy and has a great umami taste perfect to eat with fried rice as I did. This is a quality product although it can be quite pricey for what it is. If the other varieties are for a decent price on sale I’d love to try some more from this brand!

The Flavor Is Way Better Than Any Other
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Fishwife products never disappoint. This tuna tastes fresh, and the soy ginger is not overpowering, and compliments the fish nicely. My husband and I ate these as a snack with crackers and they were just perfect. I would even pair with cream cheese next time. This tuna would make a great tuna salad sandwich. The packaging is adorable too!

Fresh, Flavorful, and Easy to Eat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love the Fishwife Avocado Tuna with Soy Ginger. I put it on top of avocado for breakfast, and they are such a good combination. It’s easy to eat and taste fresh, tender, and delicious. The soy ginger flavor is light but really tasty. I also love the packaging because it’s so beautiful and unique. One can is enough for me to enjoy two meals. It makes eating healthy feel easy and enjoyable. So far I like it and I would definitely recommend this.

Tastes great but overpriced
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love fishwife and every time I see a unique new flavor I’ve got to try it. This was great. Tastes exactly how you’d imagine, and I love ginger so was really excited to try this one. Appreciate too that I like this enough to eat it straight from the can rather than adding mayo like I do with other canned fish. While I thought this tasted great, it is overpriced for sure. Would buy this as a rare treat but probably won’t add it to my weekly shopping list

Wow! So good - must try!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn’t sure what to expect from this flavor mashup. Tuna and soy ginger sounded interesting to me, but I wasn’t sold. But wow!! It’s so good! A must try if you like fish and Asian flavors. My husband doesn’t even like tuna (actually hates it) and he LOVED THIS. We paired in with rice and avocado, sriracha mayo and seaweed. Highly recommend!

Delicious and flavorful!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Amazing tuna, packed with flavor. It was so moist that I ate the majority of it plain, right off the fork. I also recommend adding the tuna on crackers or something crunchy. I’ve been having a hard time finding a high quality tuna without all the preservatives and this is it! The unfortunate part is that it comes at acost. The price is pretty high for one can of tuna.

One serving of albacore tuna
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This small tin of albacore tuna, weighing 3.2 ounces, is only 1 serving. It has a strong soy sauce flavor, which I mellowed out with mayo, dill pickle and sweet and sour mustard, but if you love soy sauce then this product would be good for you. This is a quality item but too expensive for my family. My grandson, who loves tuna fish, didn't like this at all so it's probably more for an adult taste!

Delicious, flavorful, healthy tuna
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is delicious. Tastes great right out of the can. I made mine with rice, cucumbers and a bang bang sauce for lunch and it tasted in a word, fancy. The ginger and soy aren’t over powering. The tuna tastes fresh and flaky. This might be my favorite flavor from this brand. It’s an easy, delicious and healthy lunch.

Delightful little can of tuna full of flavor
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This tuna was absolutely delicious. A ginger came through nicely and wasn't overpowering. The tuna seemed like a pretty good quality tuna. I honestly just wish there was more of it. My biggest dislike is how small the can is. I really enjoyed it on a green salad. It's addition truly made the salad special.

Another great product from brand
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second product I have tried from the fish wife. I love this one just as much. The tuna comes in a can flavored with soy and ginger I did not drain any of the excess liquid all of it I cooked some rice on the stove added edamame some extra garlic and soy sauce then added the tuna at the end. It added a great flavor to my stir fry.

Interesting tuna flavor ginger is strong
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ll admit ginger is not my favorite flavor , but I love tuna and soy so I figured I would like this. It’s definitely not my favorite. The ginger flavor is very obvious. The packaging is beautiful and that’s what attracted me to this brand. The tins are easy to open, you don’t need a can opener and I love that.
