These are great as shoe / boot trays, I'm sure. But we've bought three of them at different times - we use them as pet food trays. The 1st time we bought one was to make sure it would work. The 2nd cause it worked and we needed a bigger one. And the third because it worked twice before and saw need for a third one. Sometimes pet food falls all over the floor from their bowl and with these, the pet food bowls fit in tray and any messes are contained and the trays are easy to wash / keep clean.
Purchased one last year for shoes/ boots.
Decided to buy a couple more and am using them to hold pet food and water bowls. The bowls fit nicely and any spilled food or water stays in the tray for easy clean up. Self isolation has given me plenty of time to find new uses for items.
