The description says 30" and from tab to tab it is but the useable space is about 27". I bought this to put a triple dog food bowl stand in and if it had been 30" of useable space it would have been perfect. Nice well made affordable item though, just didn't work for me.

I grabbed a couple of these and they’re so handy. We use one for our shoes (it fits about 3 pairs of shoes at a time) and another I use to set my potted plants on when I have to bring them inside. So handy to have. And I just stack them and use the top one when I don’t need all of them out.

Good trade to put your shoes on before entering the home. Don't track mud or other dirt into the house. Once a week wipe it down hose it off and you're done.
