    Not worth your money

    These carpets do not hold up to dogs or vaccuum cleaners. Within a week, our dogs had snagged the carpets AND the vaccuum picked up frayed pieces which nearly broke my vaccuum and pulled out long strands in the rugs. In addition, the rugs emitted a terrible smell that had me looking for standing water or mold in the house. It wasn't until I returned the rugs that I realized it was these carpets, and not the house.

    These rugs have been great. I have an elderly dog so these have been washed many times and still look good. Our biggest complaint is they need to be air dried. When we dried them the first time they left a lot of tiny pieces from their backing.

    No longer cotton pile?

    The rug runner in tan is advertised as having a 100% cotton pile but I received one of 100% polyester. While the rug seems of good quality, I am very dissapointed with the changes Target has been making moving away from cotton to polyester. While I can not attribute this change to their push to use more polyester or recycled polyester, I wanted to call this out on this item.

    Not waterproof, so not great for snowy areas

    I bought this rug for inside my front door at my house in Lake George. It looks great and I love the colour but it’s not good for snow or rain, because the moisture soaks right through. It would have ruined my hardwood floor if I wasn’t paying attention to picking it up and drying my floor
