Cars Lightning McQueen Car Builder

So we bought this for our son for Easter and while I was waiting to pick it up I browsed through the reviews which left me a little discouraged that it wouldn’t work like we hoped it would.. well! First off, if you have a toddler boy who loves taking apart, putting together and fixing things, has broken cars before from playing rough with them + loves Lightning McQueen.. GET THIS. Our son absolutely ENJOYS this toy! When he got it altogether with the help of daddy he immediately began rolling the car around and to my surprise IT DOES ROLL! I’m not sure why there’s so many reviews saying it doesn’t unless they are tightening the wheels way too tight. We let our son tighten them himself which isn’t near how tight we would have done it but that’s not the point of the toy. If a wheel fell off our son was happy to grab his tools and put it back together, he can now do it on his own taking apart and customizing him. He loves being able to use the tools himself! My 4 year old stays busy with this for hours! He loves it! But then again he loves to build stuff and take it right back apart. WIN!

The specific box I picked up from my local Target for my son’s birthday. I guess I need to inspect boxes now upon pick-up because quality control sucks. The box turned out to be open and all the parts & instructions were missing. All we received was the car body with missing no wheels. This box should not have been in inventory.

Wheels don’t turn which was a huge turn off for my kids. We have a similar airplane that you assembly and that is much better quality than this one - plus the wheels spin!

it is probably a great toy. the box was literally beaten to death and ripped open. if it had not been in a bag, it would have been trash. Your shipping is the worst out of ALL companies and I will NOT be shipping anything else. That was a birthday present and it was very, very embarrasing!

4 year old started taking tires off of his cars. He’s a lightning McQueen loving boy, so this was perfect for him.

We loved the concept, but our little one (3 years old) did not like that he couldn’t drive it since the wheels do not spin. He did like putting it together and taking it apart. Also, it is smaller than we anticipated due to the packaging. 😅 This toy may work for an older child, but not for little ones who actually want to play with it (drive it). Lastly, I wouldn’t recommend it to little ones who like to peel stickers off.

The wheels don’t spin once you put the car together, which sucks. My 3 year old was excited to put it together but went to play with the car and they fell off

This car is not Functional!! Don't buy!! the wheels won't work!

It’s fun to build but the wheels don’t work so they can’t really play with the car once it’s build.

I was charged but did not get in my order. I’ve been trying to call the store for over 2 hours so far but nobody picks up

Prefect present for our Grandson. We can’t wait for him to open it on Christmas.
