I’ve had the white plates (dinner and appetizer size) and white bowls for 5 years now. They’ve held up well. They scratch easily and are difficult to remove even with bar keepers. Only 1 plate has chipped. I would recommend if you don’t mind the scratches.

A lot of reviews complained about the black having a greenish tinge. I love deep forest greens and was very excited. The plates look more black than green to me, they’ll be perfect for Thanksgiving, and I’m happy with my purchase.

I ordered a set of these and they arrived cracked. Target replaced them, but one of the replacements was cracked. Now, a few months later, I have had 2 of these crack in half in the microwave. It says they are microwave safe, but they aren’t.

Nice plates although they chip very easily. I bought 6 and after washing them I set them in a rack to dry and bumped them together and a couple of them immediately chipped on the edge flaking off the gray color.

The color description is inaccurate. Like what other reviews said, these are dark green plates. Luckily my favorite color is dark green so this doesn’t bother me, however, if you’re looking for black plated these are NOT it.

I bought these about a year ago and so far really enjoy them. The perfect size for steak and rice, 2 slices of pizza, etc. I bought the plate bowl and cereal bowl as well to match. Only reason I marked off a star was because you do start to see the wear and scratches from using sliver wear on these plates. Will need to replace after a couple years which isn’t ideal, but for the price, not bad.

I liked the design and weight of these white plates so much that I purchased a set of eight to have plain dishes. Unfortunately, after less than a dozen uses, the plates have noticeable scratches on them from utensils.

These aren’t actually black. They’re like a weird dark greenish gray. Which I assume they do so that you’re forced to buy the set from them to match. I recommend them if you don’t care about the color.
