This is 100% REAL maple syrup, not high frusctose syrup with maple flavoring. Which means you MUST refrigerate it after opening, to avoid molding. If will stay in perfect condition if refrigerated.

The most amazing flavor of pure, maple syrup! Responding to the negative reviews: •If you’re getting mold in your maple syrup, you should put it in the refrigerator as printed on the front of the label. •If the syrup is pouring out too quickly, try tilting the bottle less and slower. You can also open the tamper proof protective cover a little bit, instead of pulling it completely off. Lastly, you can cut a small hole in the protective cover instead of peeling it all the way off. •If the pour spout is not quite where it needs to be, causing the syrup to pour out from the side of the bottle… either tighten the bottle cap slightly or loosen it slightly (depending which side is closer) to make it line up. Bingo! :) -You’re welcome! :D

Pure maple syrup is much thinner than the artificial with a rich authentic taste not masked by artificial flavors, and this product holds true to that. I don wish we could get away from the plastic and that the pour spout was a bit smaller, but the product itself is spot on authentic. Used in baking and on homemade pancakes/waffles, been using the product for over a year now, multiple bottles purchased with consistent satisfaction.
