This review is only preliminary, as the 'fridge was powered for the first time an hour ago, but I'm thankful the glass shelf was made of safety glass, which spared me a possible laceration as I pawed the interior of the unit for the first time. Don't know whether to blame FedEx or myself for the rough handling, but am grateful for the safety feature. Unit is quiet, and is cooling down nicely. It was chosen in the hope its interior width would accommodate our largest turkey pan all those days after Christmas. Regret the inability of manufacturers to list the INTERIOR dimensions of compact refrigerators. Gambled here, and won.

I just bought this fridge a day ago. I liked the design, the proper separate freezer and layout. But plugged it in after letting it rest for one day and when the compressor is running it is far too loud. Heavy buzzing and hum that you would expect from a 30 yr old fridge not a new appliance. I will be returning it very disappointed.

Hi Peter, I apologize for the inconvenience. Please ensure that your unit is not plugged into extension cords. Check the compressor located on the back of the appliance, and the condenser will make a constant buzzing or humming noise as it operates. This noise is normal, especially when it's trying to cool the inside of the appliance down, which is almost all of the time. A low level of this noise is average, but if it has reached sound levels that have become intolerable, then give your unit a hard reboot. Unplug it and plug it back in after 15-20 minutes. This allows the unit to go back to factory settings. Overall its a its a great fridge. It's helped with reducing the overload in my main fridge nicely. It holds what I use the most like my 2L drinking and 355ml drinking bottles nicely. It also holds what I use most nicely as well. It past my 2 major tests nicely, involving 2 cups of water. The top part also has helped with providing a 2nd counter for my sugar bowl and coffee whiter. I only have 2 complaints. One minor and one major. The minor one is, when it arrived it had 3 dings in the one side. Please see enclosed pictures The major one is the manual. I had to switch the doors around so it would work better in my unit. The manual didn't even show HOW to switch the freezer door around, and wasn't very clear on how to do that with the fridge door. However, it did pass my 2 major tests once it did its standing time and did earn its locks. Now the next problem/task is, trying to decide what pictures to print on photo-mat magnetic paper to put on it?
