Another positive side of this AC, the quality of air. It's fresh, no smell of working AC, and easy to cling removable filter. The size was scary... but when it was installed, its looks clean, simple and modern. We love the new TCL AC! Highly recommend. Requires 2 people to install the unit.

Putting in the the window was a breeze. I did give it 4 stars tho because, I was unable to connect it to the app. I followed all the directions and tried multiple times, with no luck sadly. I have a lot of my home appliances linked to my alexa and, unfortunately was not able to with this window unit. It does a great job cooling tho and is ice cold so, that's a big win. I love that it comes with a remote and, it shows the temperature digitally on the the face of the unit.

it's extremely loud and struggles to cool a very tiny room (not even 100sqft). the air that comes out is cold though and it was easy to install at least. my biggest complaint is that i purchased the tcl 6000 btu unit for online pickup on target, and they gave me this one instead. i didn't notice until later (i bought it in sept for this summer so didn't open it until now) and now i can't even exchange it for the correct one. ridiculous.

A pain to install, but it does cool off the average sized bedroom fairly well. It's a VERY basic air conditioner, so no remote (just dials), and if you really want it to do anything, you need to have it on MAX settings for a while. I would not rely on this to cool anything larger than medium sized bedroom, but it's fine. It seems like a lot of the reviews center around Target putting opened/broken units back out for sale after they've been returned.

This is the worst AC I've ever experienced. I mean if have the smallest studio and I can only feel it (even on high) I leave it running for two days non stop. Everyone can believe i paid this much either. It's so cheap and dinky and has styrofoam in the back? I am currently sweating my butt while this is one high! I'm so annoyed.

The product was relatively simple to set up and install. But once it was running, barely any cold air came out and could only be felt if you are a foot from the unit, and in ten hours of use took the 100 sqft room from 77 to 76 degrees Fahrenheit. Barely worked at all. I submitted a ticket with TCL over a week ago, and have not heard back. Returned.

On to the review though…we don’t have central air and rely on window units to cool our two story house, so we purchase lots of units as time goes by. This summer is supposed to have some especially brutal days and this unit came just in time! Not only is it a nice unit for cooking big spaces, it’s a great brand and we have been using it the last few days with no issues whatsoever. It easily cools the area we need and is not very loud or disruptive . The remote is so handy to be able to adjust the temps from across the room!

You get what you pay for for sure. Bought his AC unit to help cool off my small room. On its coldest setting, it barely cooled my room at all. Not to mention, it went out on me after a month and I had to get rid of it. Complete waste of money!
