Terrible pizza stone. Smells awful when preheating and using to cook pizza. And also makes pizza taste like the stone! And pizza sticks to it. Worst product ever!

I followed the included directions, rinsed the stone before first use (which was necessary because it was very chalky/dusty), allowed it to dry, preheated it in the oven for an hour before putting my pizza in, even dusted the stone with flour to prevent sticking. After the pizza was cooked it was fully fused to the stone and I had to remove the very hot stone and pry it off with a spatula. I've made homemade pizza with a pizza stone many times and never had this happen before. After washing (just warm water, no soap) the surface of the stone has started crumbling away. Now I'm worried what bits of my pizza I was able to pry off had little pieces of stone attached hopefully none was consumed. I've included a picture to show my meaning. Usually Target products are great, but I don't recommend this one. Hopefully I can get a refund.
Mold everywhere

We used this literally for one day. Made two pizzas. We cleaned and washed it normally with vinegar and baking soda. Next day mold all over it. Then we treated it again with vinegar and baking soda and set it aside to dry. Same more mold on the front and back. I put the thing outside at this point still trying to find a way to clean it. If I can’t then it goes in the trash. It’s pretty gross. Such a waste.

My fiancé and I have been wanting to make some pizzas at home, so we were looking for a pizza stone. This pizza stone is great! It's a good size for a pie for at least 2 people. It's a good weight and it looks nice, too! I've used it in my oven and the pizza oven at my apartment complex and the pizzas have turned out great!

Been cooking with stones and stoneware for 35 years! My oldest stone is 35 y/o. Puchased for daughter who had issues with everything sticking to it and the smell in her kitchen was making her eyes water and her baby cry. She asked me to season it for her. Junk!! The smell of chemicals is UNREAL and will not season like any other stones! Tried several times thinking it just needed time. Husband walks in and says I am trying to kill him with the smell each time and walks out. Bought a different one and no issues! Do NOT buy this stone!!! Not only bad for your pocketbook but bad for your health.

I have never used a pizza stone before, but this is something I have always wanted to try! We love pizza at our house! I was hesitant at first, intimidated a little.. but once I read some instructions on line I have it a shot. Our pizza came out perfect! I am so used to the underside being either under or over cooked in my oven while the top is the opposite.. out pizza was perfectly cooked all the way around. We did decrease the time in the over by about 5 minutes because the stone will produce extra heat.. so we just kept an eye on it. I leave it in the oven full time now to produce a more wven heat throughout and I have noticed that my “hot spot” is not the same anymore.. things really cook more evenly!

I did not receive the pizza stone. I received a lovely blue baking dish. It is heavy but bakes well. And the blue matches my kitchen! I tried to email support to explain but did not hear back so I am reviewing anyway. I cannot review something I didn't receive.

Malfunctioned and got stained and moldy within a few weeks! Would not recommend. The stone seems more fragile than others we’ve owned. Unfortunately had to discard after only two uses.

Have used this pizza stone about once a week for the past couple months for homemade pizza with great results. Only use for homemade pizzas with a pizza peel to get pizza on and off. I usually just brush off any crumbs once it's cooled down and rinse with water if needed. Do not use this for frozen pizza!! The moisture on the pizza will cause it to stick!

0 star. It literally broke in the cart when i went to put it in my car. Not durable at all- had to throw it out because I don’t think they would’ve accepted a return. Wish i had a picture to upload.

Food sticks, pizza didn't brown on the bottom. The list of use directions, ie no cutting (?), no oils (crust stuck to it with cornmeal)...Target, I want my money back but I hate to return it with stuck food that won't come off...

Wow, just the worst. Preheated the oven with the stone inside to just under 500 degrees. Added pizza. After 10 minutes, barely cooked dough. After 20 min, same. After 45 min and the dough still under cooked, switched to a regular sheet pan to finish. Returned the next day.

I have been baking pizzas from scratch for 20 years and I have used different pizza stones. This one didn’t crisp the bottom of my pizza and I followed the instructions that were provided. The pizza came off the stone easily but the bottom of the pizza was pale.
