You have to use a good sharpener
I decided to buy these despite the bad reviews because of the price. At first, I was disappointed because I was having the same issues as the other customers, but once I changed the sharpener, I got better results. The sharpener I use is from the dollar store.

DOUBLED IN PRICE, BOOOOO!!!!!
Absolutely disgraceful that these almost increased 100% in price! These pencils used to cost 99¢ not even a year ago and they have essentially doubled in price. Target used to really look out for teachers, but now I can expect my main item for school supplies to literally cost me double this July (if I choose to buy here, which I probably won’t)

These used to be my favorite pencil, but now the paint chips off and makes a mess! They sharpen and write well, but there are orange flakes everywhere!

Do not buy
Worse pencil that I ever purchased. It breaks while you sharpen. Wood crumbles when you sharpen. Do not buy.

Most cheaper “off brand” pencils don’t sharpen well or break easy. These are completely different! They write very smooth and sharpen very well!

Not a good product
These are the worst pencils! I could barely even sharpen them without them breaking. I’ve never had a problem with Target brand pencils before.

Pencil
The number 2 pencil is the peak of human evolution. The way that the number two pencil is able to leadmaxx, while write more than most other utensils is amazing. Writingmaxxing and productivitymaxxing is the only right answer, and there is nothing that I would rather have than a number two pencil. Every other writing utensil gets absolutely mogged.

Quality Gone Downhill
The country these are manufactured in changed and the quality of the pencils is worse. The wood frays when you sharpen them.

Sharpen them yourself to save money
The unsharpened pencils are WAY cheaper than the sharpened ones, and my child begs to use the sharpener all the time, so win-win. I save money and it kept her busy for 20 minutes.

Broken items
Person who packed items did not secure them in box. When I opened up the box the pencils and crayons were out of packaging and some even broken.

Great replacement for name brand
I’ve used these pencils in replacement of Ticonderoga for about 5 years now, never a complaint. They sharpen and erase well.
