Q: I ordered the driftwood stools and just opened the box today. They are darker then I was expecting and has a hint of gray wash. I would order the beige today if I knew it would be more of a natural finish. Can you assist?

A: These are so not white! It will look bad in your white kitchen. I had to spray paint the "white" barstool to white so it would match. Save yourself the hassle.

A: These are basically cream compared to a white kitchen! Do not buy expecting white. I had to spray paint my "white" chairs to actually be white.

Poor Customer Service
I selected these chairs two weeks ago, hoping they would go on sale over the holiday weekend. They were listed for regular price of $150.00. 5 days later the price went up to $190.00. I called Target customer service and they could see the price changed yet would not let me order for $150.00 as this was not a sale price and I should have ordered when it was $150.00. Since it was NOT a sale price one would not assume the price would change by $40.00. She only told me she could do nothing for me and let me know she was disconnecting the call. Really poor and surprising lack of service.

Great chair, but didn’t even last a year before one of the legs split in half. Another thing that is annoying about the chairs is you are always having to tighten the hex nuts because they are always loose or always falling.

Meets my needs
These stools look very nice in my kitchen! They were fairly simple to put together and seem to be sturdy. Some of the holes were difficult to align, but all 4 fit together with a little manipulation. The X on the back may be a little fragile for my 3 children, but for the price, I think it’s worth the risk. 3 of 4 are slightly wobbly on my brick floors, but when sitting on the stool, it balances out well with minimal movement. These are driftwood brown, and truthfully each one has slightly different hues throughout. They blend well though and don’t look mismatched at all. The wood may need to be sanded in a couple of places on the back, but overall this chair is much smoother than other natural looking finishes I tried. Definitely worth buying at this price point.

Super cute! But I’m writing this review for all those who are dying to understand - WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE between the beige and driftwood brown????? I was like none of these pictures are in natural light and I cannot for the life of me tell the difference! Fear not - I bought both so you don’t have to. The beige is on the right and has a yellow undertone to it. The driftwood brown is on the left and has more of a grey muddied undertone to it. Ya girl is going with the driftwood brown. Easy to assemble.

3 of these chairs have broke at the sane spot!
Love the the look and style of these chairs but we’ve only had these for two years and 3 out of 8 of our chairs are broken … all at the top back. In all cases, men have leaned back and almost have fallen backwards to the ground because the weak backs break. It’s almost a safety issue.
