Wouldn't recommend for kids, but we enjoyed it and are happy with how they turned out! (we used our own beach findings) TWO TIPS: 1. Use a kitchen scales since the measuring cups included don't have the measurement you need. If the ratio isn't precise it won't fully firm up. 2. Mix the resin mixture foreverrrr. If you think you mixed it together enough you probably didn't. If not mixed enough it won't firm.

I loved this craft, really came out beautiful and high quality. Everyone that has seen these coasters are amazed by them. Totally recommend this craft!

These instructions are awful, definitely hard to follow even for an adult. We had to do a lot of guessing to even get it done and didn’t harden correctly. Waste of money.

Got this for 10 and 11 year olds to make together. The kit needs better instructions. These independent kids were able to “make it work” but it was very messy and the end product was 3 out of 5 stars. The kids said they wouldn’t recommend this to a friend.

I was so excited to do this project but unfortunately it did not go well. The instructions stated to measure 10 ml of Resin A and 10ml of resin B. The lowest increment of measurement on the measuring cup was 30ml. They also stressed the importance of getting the measurements exact to ensure the resin hardens. I did the best I could and left them overnight but unfortunately they were still sticky and never hardened. Had to throw them away.

Amazing resin coaster set with everything you need to make the most adorable coasters. My 12 year old daughter did them while we are on vacation in Hawaii, and they turned out great! Highly recommend.

Very misleading directions. We did our best to measure the correct amounts of each resin with what materials were provided. My daughter was very excited to make these but they did not set up correctly even after being meticulous.

The instructions were confusing, and we had issues with the measuring cups. The two instructions were to measure 10 ml of Resin A and 10ml of resin B. The lowest increment of measurement on the measuring cup was 30ml. It was not possible to measure 10ml with the materials provided. The measuring cups were also crushed in several places and this affected our ability to properly measure the resin. Our coasters did not harden overnight and remained sticky, and u believe the issue was inefficient measuring. Would not recommend unless you like having disappointed kids.

My 8 year olds had a lot of fun with it, but they didn’t read the instructions carefully and didn’t mix the solution in the correct proportions, so it didn’t harden properly. This is definitely an activity that requires adult supervision. Other than that, I recommend it. it’s a fun activity and the results are quite pretty.

These turned out so pretty!!!! I used a very teeny tiny amount of the pink color powder because it is very potent and I loved the semi transcluent pastel look I got. The shells and pearls the kit comes with are so beautiful, it comes with these gorgeous iridescent mother of pearl chips that make the coaster sparkle like magic in the sun!

These turned out so well! Can’t wait to use these over the summer.
