Q: Hi. Two questions. 1.) Most home walls have a light texturing to them. Can you use these strips on average light textured wall? 2.) Additionally does it matter if the painted wall is flat, satin, or semi-gloss finish?

A: Hello - Thank you for asking. Heavily textured surfaces may not allow the adhesives to fully bond. Slight textures should not be a problem. Command can be used on all types of paint.

Q: Can you hang more than one picture with this item or do you use all 4 pair on one item?

A: Hello - Thank you for asking. This would depend on the weight of the frames you are trying to hang. Our packaging instructions will show that frames that are 6 lbs or less require at least 2 pairs of the adhesives. Frames that are more than 6 lbs up to the maximum 12 lbs in weight will need 4 pairs of adhesives. The strips were easy to use and seemed strong, but I had to adjust the strips a bit at the end. However, the next day the bulletin board had fallen down! I couldn’t get the strips to stick again. I received them to review from 3M.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a teacher these are great for use in the classroom to easily hang frames around the classroom. The painted cinder blocks make it impossible to hang things with a nail. The strips can easily be taken down at the end of the year yet hold strong all year long. I especially love that I can easily take down the framed picture/poster from the wall and bring it to the front to take it around the room when teaching. Then easily it "snaps" back in place when we move to the next chapter. There is also no worry about it being crooked and shifting if a student brushes past, the poster is very secure. I always keep Command products in my closet for all my hanging and organization needs. I was given this product exchange for an honest review from 3M.

No hammer, nails, screws, or wall anchors needed and no putty and paint needed after removal. Use is a breeze. Just click them together, remove the tape, place on your artwork and press against the wall. Removal, just pull the strips and it releases with no reisdue left behind. Perfect for dorms, apartments, or your own home.

I tend to make lots of holes in the wall but with these I can just stick anything to the wall. It holds 10 lbs and I used ot to hang a cork board above my desk and it was super easy. I was given this product to review but I often buy these anyway.

Just atrach one side to the wall and the other to your item, wait awhile and hang up. If you need to remove them just pull down and they unstick from the wall without any damage.

Create the gallery wall you always wanted with these 6 pairs of Command strips. Each pair holds 10lbs and a frame size of 18 x 24. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Medium Picture Hanging Hooks to hang a picture that weighed 4 pounds. I followed the directions by cleaning the back of the picture and wall with rubbing alcohol. I attached the Velcro tabs. When I went to pull the picture back off the wall to give the wall strips time to adhere, they did not adhere. My husband used more strength to have the wall strips adhere, this time they stayed. After 2 hours we put the picture on the wall and the Velcro stuck together, as it should. Much to my surprise the picture fell off the wall after about an hour. don’t care for this item because the Velcro doesn’t appear to be strong enough to do the job. I won’t be using these again.

I was able to hang a picture that had previously been just placed in the bathroom, always fearful I'd knock it over. No longer a worry and no holes in my wall that I have to later patch. Looks great on the wall where I can see it.
