Q: Do these have a mechanism under each piece so it can connect together, in order to make a longer banquet that won't slide apart?

A: There are no connectors or hardware included for this banquette they are heavy and stay in place by themselves. You could probably add something on the bottom or backs on your own if needed but nothing is included it’s free standing. They are heavy and against a wall do not really slide or separate

I've recently purchased this banquet set with two additional corner pieces for the ends of the banquette because I wanted a cozier feel & polished look. I'm so happy wth the results. It's still under construction but so far so great. Delivery was three weeks which was faster than described by target which made me even happier coupled with the fact that I purchased it on sale with free shipping.

Wonderful modern banquette for dining noom
I love this banquette! Yes it’s a bit pricey for target furniture but I researched high and low for this exact size to fit my nook. Quality is great on par with a west elm or cb. One thing to note is that the pieces do not hook together with any hardware but are sturdy enough to stay together. I wish the seats were a bit deeper but I have a small space so it really works! Seats are comfortable. No issues with shipping like prior reviews mention everything was accurate it took about 3-4 weeks to arrive in 3 big boxes packed nicely, and like I said no real assembly required just unpack and place them.

It will be an absolute miracle if you actually get the color you ordered. Order this is January, didn't come until March, sent the wrong color. Returned it and reordered and they sent this set in THREE different colors. Finally just returned for a refund. After seeing the quality, it is extremely overpriced anyway.
