Q: What happened to the Threshold sheets that have double elastic at the corners? They are the only sheets I have found to stay in place with an adjustable bed frame.

A: I ordered the Twin Xl myself & when I received them the top of the package only stated Twin. When I looked at the very fine print at the bottom it did say TXL. So I just tried one on my bed & it fit.

Is this like a weird website problem where they are actually manufactured in two separate sizes but then combine on the website and just choose twin or twin xl randomly when fulfilling orders? We have so many of these sheets, flat and fitted. And pillowcases too. All of our family members use them and we also have them on our giant (mastiffs and Great Danes) dog beds! They're soft, durable, and wash well with very frequent laundering. Understandably, the ones we use on the dog beds wear out faster because of their nails when they're playing and chasing squirrels in their sleep.

Most uncomfortable sheets ever
I have bought threshold percale sheets for many years. I swore by them. I have purchased two different types of these sheets in the last two months, one of them the cool and crisp and the other sheets that are supposed to be extra soft. Both of them felt like I was laying on sandpaper. I was able to keep one set on my bed for 24 hours before I tore them off and replace them with my old ones. The super soft sheets appear to have a sheen on them making them look like they're soft but they are very coarse. Even worse than the cooling crisps sheets which I didn't think was possible. I don't know what they've done to this product but they've ruined it. I will never ever buy another set of threshold sheets again.

Affordable but not good quality
These are somewhat comfy and affordable sheets but they didn't even last me a year before they got holes in them. I wash them every 2-3 weeks depending on...things. And that's been enough to make them so thin that they tore. I know they are cheaper but I'd expect them to last longer than 10 months.
