Q: The package doesn’t state it’s OEKO-TEX certified anywhere and the products website doesn’t state this either. I reached out to the company and asked if it’s certified but got no response. How do we confirm this is OEKO-TEX certified?

I gotta admit, it keeps my criticism away. This really works. Even tho I'm incontinent, it seems to hold up pretty well compared to the plastic wrap on a brand new mattress.

I have new cats adjusting to the house and one of them has peed on the guest bed. I thought a waterproof sheet would prevent future problems except that this wasn't remotely waterproof. Luckily for me I had layered enough things under the sheet just in case an the urine was stopped before it reached the mattress. Otherwise it's fine. It's soft and quiet enough, the elastic is strong and it fits securely. Unfortunately it's completely useless for its purchased function.

Worked two or three times, then it didn’t at all. Not sure what happened, I was careful when I washed it and air dried it on the line. My kid is learning to stay dry through the night, I have the bed set up with one of these mattress protectors, sheets, another one of these mattress protectors, and then sheets on top again- so that I can just strip the top layer if we have an accident. Imagine my dismay when last night I stripped the top layer to find my bottom layer soaked as well! Luckily it hadn’t gone through the bottom mattress protector, but the top one had completely failed. It’s too bad because these have a nicer feel than a plastic sheet.

I bought this to protect our mattress from pet accidents, and while it's probably water-resistant, it's definitely not waterproof. However, it's unobtrusive to sleep on, so I'm giving it two stars for that.
