A: The 48 inch picture ledge includes three screw holes that are 16 inches apart.

A: You can use a screwdriver but it will require more energy and force to create holes to install the picture ledge shelf.

You get what you pay for
The ledge shelf is more or less as described. I purchased the 48" shelf, so it came with 3 screws, but only 2 dry wall anchors. I assume this was an oversight, and luckily had an extra anchor on hand. Once installing, it was apparent that the shelf is very bowed. Even anchored, the screws are not sufficient to get the ledge to sit flush against the wall. If you want all the parts to be in the box and the ledge shelf to lay flat, spring for a pricier option.

Easy to hang and adds instant interest
Solid shelves without flaws. Screw holes are 16" apart, and studs are usually 16" on center, which is perfect because it requires fastening into at least 2 studs to support the weight. Find the stud, drill your pilot holes (use a level) then screw in the shelves. Balked a little at the cost but they are well-built, attractive, functional, and solid. Worth the money.
