Good fan, good air movement however the light kit should have a means to increase brightness.

I like the fan, just wish I could purchase a clear or white glass covering the lights.

Perfect fan for my living room. Quiet, with 3 fan speeds and light is soft and can be dimmed if desired. Quality is very evident. An elegant addition that is also practical for cooling my home.

I bet all these favorable reviews were not posted by DIY installers. I do ceiling fans all the time and usually it's in and out in a hour so I quote customers a flat rate but... Deeply disappointed to discover the decorative shroud which sits flush with the ceiling, is a bear to install. You need 2 people (which I didn't have). Attempting to install the screws was a total fail. The shroud should have been made of lighter material. Finally got screws in then attatched blades. They rubbed on the housing and and wouldnt turn. Had to put spaces between the blades and motor just tobget it to turn. Also the remote is very unresponsive This product was a bust. I am an electrician and would run away very fast from this one. My customer is in her 80's but was pleased to have someone to talk to for four hours. Again, lighten up on the decorative flush-mounted shroud for easier installation!!!!

Beautiful, the fan has an arts & craft impression, and looks right at home in my 1929 home. Remote control makes it very convenient, and the light is brighter than i expected. The fan is silent and smooth functioning. Overall excellent, well worth the wait.

The shroud should have been made of lighter material; in addition, no paint should have been applied to the top. The friction of numerous attempts to screw it in rubbed off the paint. I had to repair my entire ceiling to match the affected area. This product was a bust. I replaced with a more expensive fan with a downrod. I've installed other flush-mound ceiling fans with no drama. I shouldn't need to hire an electrician or handy person to install a fan. Hence, I returned it. Again, lighten up on the decorative flush-mounted shroud for easier installation!!!!

We are very pleased with the look of this fan in our livingroom. The fan runs silently. The amber light gives just enough light for watching tv, but not enough to read or use as a main light to do any kind of work by. My husband said it was the easiest fan he ever had to install. We love it.

I really like this fan. It is beautiful and elegant. I like the fact that it does not stand out. It is unobtrusive and gives the room a clean look. The fans work well and they are quiet. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is that the shades cast more of an amber color. They really don’t give much light. However my husband actually prefers the lower light.

We purchased two of these fans for our living spaces. We were pleased with the overall purchase, quality of product, and shipping times.

We purchased this fan for our master bedroom and really love it! It is beautiful and very quiet. Love the remote control feature for the fan and light. This fan is worth the price. A little difficult to install over a heavy bed that could not be moved but my resourceful husband figured it out and with the help of a tall friend they had it up in no time.

It is such a well-made, rich looking fan. It is extremely quiet and the medium setting is just perfect for me.

Received my second unit, a replacement for the first. It doesn't work either. Same problem, a bad starting capacitor on the motor. Beautiful unit with no quality control.

We had an electrician install this fan/light in place of an old fan and I am delighted with this product. It is in a master bedroom and looks luxurious and refined. I love the quiet motor, remote control, amount of air circulating, and just about everything about this fan. It is reversible for winter months but we haven't tried this feature yet. It keeps our bedroom cool! I am very happy with this purchase.

Spent a lot of time looking for a Mediterranean appropriate fan. Very pleased with the fit and finish on this fan fits right into my custom home. Remote control is handy too.

This is the 3rd and 4th of this type fan I have purchased, and naturally I love them since I keep buying them. They installed quickly from the spot that the old ones were in. The glass is sheer, which lets out great light, even tho there are only 2 60-watt bulbs. The best parts are the elegant look and the super quiet motor, along with the remote control which is already included. If you are putting two of them in the same room, be sure to install the first one, turn the power on, re-set the code in the remote and do the reprogramming/turning on light BEFORE you install the second one. The second fan can then be installed without having to change the factory set code in it's remote.

WOW even better in person. the fan is simply awesome better than i could have imagine and the remote is really cool . it was easy to order the people on the phone spoke clearly easy to understand and quite helpful

This is the second time purchasing this style of fan. We were so impressed with it five years ago, we decided to get another for another room in the house.
